As an American, I really appreciate the robustness of the Parliamentary form of government... i think it would seem to have the potential to encourage more honesty and transparency than the representative form of democracy in the US. The erosion of sovereignty by globalist oligarchs threatens us all. It makes me feel optimistic that united in the spirit of our individual sovereignty, we might defeat it together...
Vote No. Socialism = Slavery. Europe used to rule the World. Europe used to control the Oceans. Europeans used to invent great machines and build great ships and culture. Europe is no longer great or relevant. Europe is now neutralized by socialism slavery. Why? What is the reason? Who profits from this? I can only come up with scary answers.
So apparently the reason for going to war against hitler was not to stop a tyrannical socialist leader from dominating Europe but to make sure that tyrannical socialist leader was not hitler. What kind of democracy do Europeans want and is it up to the people at all?
in earlier days i would have said "kindergarten", if i saw such political skirmish.
but these days... i`m scared about, what is coming upon us the next few years of EU-Totalitarianism, especially in connection with the upcoming depression and economic crisis. mass unemployment and pauperization will lead to riots, logically the ruling class of the EU needs to be prepared to have the apropriate instruments to deal with these problems the time they occur...
Perhaps if Corbett ( and the un-elected commission ) had listened to the millions of voters in France, the Netherlands and Ireland who voted NO to the constitution/Lisbon treaty....people would have believed the EU elections had something to do with DEMOCRACY !
Instead,53% of voters stayed away.
Say NO to an imposed Lisbon treaty/constitution that ignores the views of most of us in Europe.
Its not expenses, its allowances and everybody get the same (which they dont have to put in any receipt for), so that prick corbett would get exactly the same.
Nigel Farage was just pointing out, what a make haste money greedy organisation the E.U is.
But at least that f*cking back stabbing traitor, corbette as lost his seat, HA HA HA
Corbett's been popping up in the news lately... but who voted for this idiot? Does anybody honestly feel proud that he represents them? If there is I'd like to hear why.
I was unfortunate enough to meet Richard Corbett recently at a talk he gave (hosted by the Cuba Solidarity Campaign!) and he proved himself to be the Communist-style message-boy that he is. His response to the denial of a referendum on Lisbon was a ridiculously banal, double-thinking 10 minute lecture on the reasons the EU is now not a trading bloc and needs a massive increase in power in order to acheive it's aims.
Save us all. Vote UKIP, particularly in Corbett's Yorkshire and Humber region.
Seemed like a fag when he said "oh, come off it". The evil ones weren't clever enough to lie and give a false reason for the minimum-raise they just denied the truth others said.
These jokers in the EU are no different than the jokers in my United States Congress. The two party system will band together to stop anyone else from challenging THEIR authority! Only a revolution of the People, as has happened in 1776 (USA) & 1789 (France) will make any REAL change! Are you listening Oblack Barama?
I love videos that give more coverage to the fringe parties of the European Parliament and less to the large groups. Remember they are directly elected representatives, we should listen to all voices in the Parliament.
Greets from Denmark, i love Nigel farage. We need to fight the EU, they do anything without our approval.
People that love freedom should also check out Ron Paul and american politician who fights for freedom in the USA like nigel farage fights for the europeans freedom
Thats why the smaller parties in the EP look more attractive to me. Not the EU phobic nuts of the kind of UKIP but small parties which stand for the kind of development I would like to see: a strengthening of European democracy, if necessary for reaching that aim by strengthening the supranational nature of the EU.
"Strengthening European democracy... by strenghtening the supranational nature of the EU" is an oxymoron of the highest kind. Democracy is found in smaller states. The larger the state, federation or empire the less democratic power do people have - read some Jean Jacques Rousseau, for heaven's sake man! Or delve into the development of the Soviet Union.
@europarl "The larger the state, federation or empire the less democratic power do people have "
USA, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, India......... counterarguments; how can you say a larger state will be less democratic? that is non-sense; democracy should work for any state! and leave that shit about the USSR alone once and for all!! The Stalinist communism used in that country stripes people or rights no matter the size of the state; whether USSR or Albania......
@europarl you think Albania was less totalitarian because it was small? LOOOOOOOOOOOOL it was as bad as today's North Korea.... which is actually a good example in it's self;

What is becoming increasingly clear to Americans is our superstate government in DC doesn't work anymore. It takes years of hard work to get a bill passed through our Congress while the world outside moves at an ever-increasing pace. The bill that ends up being passed has been so forcefully compromised to win votes, it hardly resembles it's original shape. Large beauracratic governments simply cannot cope. Small governments like Australia, Canada, and Singapore are the new models to follow
vote for politicians that believe in autonomy and limiting Brussel's power -- especially their stupid, and i mean STUPID enviornmental policies that are costing you billions.

Bah. There's plenty of oil reserves untapped. The methods of extracting oil improve so it may be taken from shale, sand, and other deposits. Also, the efficiency of machines increases so they require less oil. Never in history has a people run out of a power source. You shouldn't believe a lie b/c it's repeated.
The EU will make US Pres Bush look like a peace activist very soon. Europeans are so quick to point out how terrible & Hitler like Bush has become, and rightfully so! The rules & laws MUST be followed by EVERYONE... The EU is becoming the embodiment of Hitler, changing the rules anytime it fits their needs.

Corbett is one of the most dangerous men alive. He is paternalistic, feigns innocence and is a total control freak. He is the embodiment of the politician administrator in Mandelson's "post democratic age". He also simpers. All parties have their Corbetts - the Nazis, the Soviets, and ZANU PF. He is the best reason why only direct voting should be allowed and lists banned for there is not one in 100 free men or women who would vote for this weasel.
Corbett is a duplicitous underhand and dishonest individual reveilled by most who know him, he represents his personal interests and those of his odious party seeking the commune-isation of EUrope & centralisation of power & control - as with all communi-sts, fabians, Marxists, Common Purpose & their ilk there is a contempt for democracy & the values of the electorate based on the misconception, in their technocracy, they know their inferiority so seek like ants to form colonies to dictate. `Justice´ in a post-Lisbon Europe !
Under EU CORPUS JURIS :
An accused can be retried if found innocent.
A `pre-emptive´arrest is possible if the European Public Prosecutor thinks that a citizen MIGHT commit a crime sometime in the future.
A citizen can be extradited to any other EU country without evidence having to be shown (prison in Rumania anyone ?).
The `prisoner´may be held WITHOUT TRIAL for 6 months.
This can be lengthened at a stroke of the EPP's pen.

It is not a coincidence that European Union rhymes with Soviet Union.
Both are based on unlimited power of unelected apparatchiks who see citizens (subjects) as a tool to enrich themselves.
Socialism, communism and fascism are just different forms of feudalism. There is ruling class and then there are serfs.
Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Hitler and Mussolini must be laughing their behinds off in Hell.
