Umm... Nintendo TRIED to partner with Phillips and failed so Sony did and won. Sony had the money and Phillips developed the CD, DVD and now the BD. i bought a wii just because of the old nintendo franchises and it was worth it. the wii has some good games and it has potential to be a good console. the thing is out of all the wii games available only a few are worth playing, the rest are family-friendly games, minigame compilations, ports, kiddy movie tie-ins... and obviously the ps3 and 360 are superior in terms or capacity so we're missing loads of great titles.
