She was a beauty... and amazing how she never "really" aged all that much, or facial features change drastically from when she was a very young girl & actress. A graceful beauty!
@lindalucys2004 Thanks for watching my video. :) Yes I agree unlike some other celebrities BBG aged in a way that made her easily recognizeable and she did look pretty much the same when she was in her 30s to 60s.
@Karsch100 Even when young in the old b&w film, she definitely had the same fresh look and delicate beauty as in her 20's, 30's and beyond. Still had that cute nose and profile thru-out the decades.
(healthy living? plastic surgery? whatever, she didn't seem to distort her face as so many actresses do to "stay young"
@lindalucys2004 you're welcome about the video. I think it's safe to say that BBG never had plastic surgery. She aged naturally and that made her beautiful. Except for that she looked older in Dallas she was still very recognizable from her early movies. :)
@Karsch100 your welcome. No disrepect to Donna Reed, but there was only one Ms. Ellie. Even Larry Hagman once said, ''she is not my mama'' in reference to Donna Reed replacing Barbara Bel Geddes.
@msmithstud I agree there was only one Miss Ellie and she was Barbara Bel Geddes. I cheered when she returned on the show. :) Then I do think that the whole thing with Donna Reed was handled very badly by the producers of the show. I mean she was a good actress in her own right. She just wasn't Miss Ellie.
That was a very nice tribute. You did a wonderful job, I had know idea she had passed I was jus looking at the old clips from the show, so I thankyou , she was a big very big part of such a successful show. Thankyou.
@m1mmodel You're welcome and thank you so much for your nice comments. :)
I am glad that you liked my BBG Tribute video. I remember the day I heard about her passing. I read it on the Ultimate Dallas newsletter and it filled me with a sense of sadness even though I never knew her. She was lovely as Miss Ellie on Dallas and I also enjoy what I have seen of her other work.
Thank you. I am glad that you liked the video. The music is by musikshake. It's an instrumental track and the name escapes me as it's not the song I originally choose. But I do think it works well... :)

The black and white film that you were wondering about is "I remember Mama" from 1948...

Another wonderful tribute to Barbara. She was always my favorite on Dallas. The music was beautiful. What was the name of the song you used?
