Reminds me of the last season episode The Grey Team where a lookalike team of soldiers try and take on the real A-Team. This just looks like standard 00s Hollywood 25 year old exec / accountant fuelled bullshit, with a modern B.A. who throws out street jive like 'homey' to appear less embarassing than Mr T. But you can't improve on something good and in 1985 it didn't get much better than the original A-Team.

The parachute scene looks pathetic. Dear Hollywood writers, do you really expect we'll believe any absurd, illogical, CGI-filled bullsh*t action scequence? Even the guy who comes out of the turret is OBVIOUSLY a CGI character, and that was a quick cut from a quick trailer. The A-Team - like many other Stephen J. Cannell shows - worked 'cause the dialogue was quite brillant and the characters were very likeable: of course that needs intelligent writing, something you won't get in today's movies.

Yeah, I know what you're talkin' about, of course there were some ridiculous moments (what about the flying jeeps/cars they used to cut the violence? Every time they shoot something it flipped and crashed, and everyone survived). Then I guess every movie made before CGI existed used... magic? Ever heard about things like motion control, rear projection? People should understand CGI is not bein' used to create something otherwise impossible (Terminator 2, The Matrix), it's just way cheaper than practical effects and any idiot with a mouse can create an action scene. Old special effects artists like Rob Bottin or Douglas Trumbull costed much more and when you see a movie like The Thing or Blade Runner you know why.
