Such great bands as Overkill, Exodus, Testament etc., they aren't appreciated as they should be. I'm preety sure that most of people listening to famous bands like these from Big 4, don't even know about real fucking great thrash legends.

How the fuck can you generalise thrash vocals into a single style when such a wide array of vocalists use a wide array of styles, all of which are thrash. Mustaine, Hetfield, Chuck, Killian, Mille, Schmier, Reynolds, Russ Anderson; all vocalists with totally different styles, yet all are thrash.

@stayawayfromtheshed My advice is to keep listening to them. It'll grow on you. I wasn't crazy about the vocals either when I first started to listen to them but that changed quickly. I personally think the vocals are what makes Overkill unique. There is no band that sounds like Overkill and Overkill doesn't sound like any other Thrash band (besides all the dumbasses that have their heads up Metallica's ass saying this song sounds like Master Of Puppets WRONG!). Trust me, you'll miss out.

Anyway, maybe I judged a bit to hastily.

The sound did remind me of Master of Puppets, but, Metallica was a thrash band, Overkill is a thrash band.

Combine that and the production values, yes, it's the same genre from the same era.
