She does, she was meaning that although Palin is the Commander in chief of the Alaskan National Guard, she isn't when the decisions like how to arm and when they are deployed in Iraq. Campbell wanted to know what Palin had commanded the Guard to do when they weren't going overseas, b/c if they just sit there and do nothing, that does not qualify as command experience, even though she is technically their commander in chief. And btw Rep. lie when they say obama will raise taxes

We know what governors can do as Commander in Chief, but what has she done? The gov's of the Gulf states command the guard when there's a crisis like a hurricane, when they go to Iraq however they are no longer under their control. SO what have the Alaskan Guard done, under Sarah Palin's control?

A Governor has no control over national guard troops when they are sent overseas. As soon as they are federalized their "Commander and Chief" is the president of the United States. I cant belive that boob trying to qualify her "title" as commander and chief the the Alaska national guard as foreign policy experience.
