The RM & RML's are great buses. But now thanks to Borris Twat'head, they are all gone & been replaced by some ugly heap of S**T & they say its design from the Routemaster, ehhh i dont think so.
@Streetcar1743 - "The Baptism" by Nino Roti from the soundtrack of "Th Godfather" - which is my favourite Movie. Liked you film about St Louis bus garage by the way!
Now this is great nostalgia for me. Especially to see the 159 bus! Must have travelled on that route hundreds of times. Oddly enough, at about 4.32 minutes into the vid there is a grey-haired chap boarding the bus and my wife says it's a dead-ringer for ME. A doppel-ganger. I have to agree with her.
This video is now on my favourites list. Thanks so much for uploading it.
They probably didn't go as fast as they do nowadays it is scary. My question is why is it that it seems they never go where they say they do. Not the simplest system either when I am in I avoid them because of the speed they go at.
Hi there - I assume you are talking about the present buses and bus system in London. I agree that outside central London the London Buses do break the speed limit. But in central london it is usually impossible to go that fast. The buses I use usually go where they say they are going on the front. Actually I think it is a great system and as I am over 60 the rides are free!
Hi Danny
The song is "Transport of Delight" by Flanders & Swan - maybe they are on Youtube singing it!
