the tenor at st chads is nothing! to be honest, i was the only person from the whold outing to keep it up, and insted of standing at hand, at back. THE FIRST TIME! nobody else stood it like that, took many attempts. the bell was up wrong as well!
Wow, those things are slow aren't they? Well...I guess they would be considering their size. I'm used to baby bells I guess, and they whip around pretty quick. Aside from their massive weight, these look like a piece of cake to ring.

I rang the tennor at St Chad's, Shrewsbury and it was all I could do to keep it up. It's 2 tonnes and I wasn't pulling long which was the problem.
