Actually,... HoneyAlmondFlax, you are correct,... in part. To be slightly more accurate, they are called "Four-limb seperation, quad's. Quad's themselves can be done on any ONE drum, simply by taking the first or last two notes away from sixtuplet's,... (if they need to be sped up, count only one note, instead of the two left out, before initating the next set of quad's. I hope this answers completely, your question, monkidawg.
