  • Wheres my jewish holocaust fucking toast? Critter was outrageous

  • "If u kno tha words sing, com'on I know your nasty"

    - Prince, Controversy Tour, 1981

  • Prince was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO nasty, like WOW! back in 1970's & 80's

  • Prince was so nasty! But I can't help but love him. He is so talented he gets away with mixing dirty naughty lyrics with such a fun beat.

  • @coreyj98 Prince gave in to industry when Dirty Mind came around. The rude boy attitude was all for marketing, once he left Warner he put that down and returned to his roots, straight soul and rnb. Albums like Dirty Mind and Purple Rain sell more than albums like For You and Prince because they were marketed towards what the people wanted. Which was nasty and raunchy, instead of the honest artist. Which was what we got with Emancipation and others period (which I love)

  • @HypeRhymz He got older and wiser. Dirty Mind was profound; he eschewed formula by putting out an album that he knew would be commercially compromised, instead of riding the wave of the success of the previous album. The Time's first album was the album Prince would've released for himself if the label refused to release Dirty Mind. When the label allowed him to express himself, he called his old band mate Morris Day and had him sing over Prince's voice on the other album!

  • @darqmage65 Hits like Cool and Get it Up were Prince songs, written, performed and produced by Prince! The Time was just the band assembled to play the music live, but the entire record is Morris singing over Prince produced tracks!

  • @HypeRhymz i read an interview with prince where he said the complete opposite. he said he made the 1st 2 albums to placate warners but dirty mind was the album he really wanted to make. in fact dirty mind was just a demo tape he made in his home studio and his manger heard it and convinced him to release it. why would he make demos of songs he thought would never be released, unless that's where he was musically at the time? for me dirty mind is the first "real" prince album.

  • He's wearing Morris Day's jacket!!!LMAO!!!

  • Jack u off

  • Thank you for these videos. One thing .... He was always a cocky little something or other. Still love him though.

  • @Removepurpleclips, I disagree. Prince will always be sexy =•)

  • i love it when my wife "jacks"

  • Dez is a great guitarist

  • ...i get delerious!..

  • The way prince performed on dis conert footage he had dat same style wen he doin was doin n the purple rain era ...his style hasnt change until he left warner brothers record label and recorded emancipation ?

  • It's not about the mix, it's about the songs. '80-'88 was his fertile era. It doesn't matter if the mixes aren't the best, those songs put him at the head of the list of best songwriters of the 1980s. Too bad Dez didn't stay in the band, he was a much better guitar player than Wendy Melvoin.

  • dez was conflicted because he was a born again Christian and he had to take part with this type of filth

  • Dez really sounds like Van Halen on this one

  • Is it me or do some of you listening to this right now this really seems strange for a man to sing this song...

  • lovett

  • I wonder if he's satisfied with his early career

  • Correction! That is not Andre Cymone on bass as it says in the end credits. Andre had already left the band by then; that is BrownMark/Mark Brown on bass.

  • @pjeno007 if you listen to albums like 1999 and Purple Rain, and then listen to albums like Rainbow Children and Musicology, you can see why he says the mixing on 1999 and Purple Rain was horrible. I will say that the mixing on those two couldve been a little better. Rainbow Children and Musicology sound way better mixing-wise.

  • @HypeRhymz .... but the mixing is what gave it the raw edge. Also recording in the warehouse gave it that big edgy sound that he or no one else has done since. Sometimes I think he over does the productions and mixing. he used to take days, weeks to mix. Wish he would go back to that big sound and simple drummachine and early eighty synths and raw guitar

  • La discussion est controversée.O{+>..

  • It was Dec 20, 1981. It was on a Sunday at The Summit in Houston Tx.

  • he's left Jehovah recently - he left larry Graham also

  • @dereckalex Says who??? Is this confirmed? lol

  • good looking out a great verison of 'Jack U Off" because P crossed over when he totally Punk- Funk Nu Wave R&B

  • Prince always leave me with a smile! (^_^)

  • Brilliant!

  • People, if u didn't know, by the time Sign o the times came out, Prince was leaving his "nasty" persona. He was maturing in a way and started singing about real relationships. Quit looking for purple rain #2 and be glad he gave his life to God.

  • Correction, BrownMark was on bass at this point. Andre left after dirty mind, by this time Andre was working on "living in the new wave".

  • wow i thought this song came out in lovesexy

  • @lilHippo This song was on Controversy. Prince's 3rd album.

  • @ChrisVGuitarist oh yeah. but wouldnt controversy be princes 4th album

  • @lilHippo Yup... Typo.. I am corrected! For You - Prince - Dirty Mind - Controversy - 1999 - Purple Rain - Around The World In A Day - Parade - (Black Album) then recalled - Lovesexy.... lol thx

  • @ChrisVGuitarist lol it's all good

  • -Thank you for the uploads!!! Prince has always been fresh and so clean clean! I agree with you mylesmatisse.

    - A little nasty is how we all got here, I wish he would cover some of his classic hits whenever he tours...but oh well. ( I'll take what I can get.) BTW I remember being a kid singing to this, but clueless about what it meant LMAO!

  • @mylesmatisse Totally I've given up on all his albums as a whole post Lovesexy. It's not just the 'nasty' side, its how he performed them, both live and studio wise. I read a quote once that said he thought the mixing on his earlier albums, specifically 1999 and Purple Rain, was horrible. ? ! Seriously? Funny cause the albums SINCE 88 have been over produced and soft sounding.

  • @mylesmatisse I cant imagine nasty Prince when he reach 60-65 :) ... maybe U and U can i wont !..this era is over cus time goes by , and maybe God had any influance on this...passing by..Do U think that Princes faith is the reason that he wont come back to these songs..or write something nasty 4 us?(he could change the lyrics in old songs...maybe)...Hello Fans , we are in 2011 not in 1983 :)...(were nasty gestures during 2010 2011 tours , i saw and said to myself WTF , what 4 ? this illusion)

  • @mylesmatisse Sex in it's proper content. Learn your Bible before spewing stupid ignorance.
