what is this video trying to prove? The ignorance of America surrounding the mentally ill? Using the fear of the unknown to portray them all as violent? What is the point of this video?

yes its supposed to show how dumb people are in thinking that all mentally ill patients are violent dangerous killers. There are some moments of stupidity thrown in to add humor to the information being shown. It also shows the misinformation that tv shows and movies give their viewers. Just so everyone knows multiple personality is what norman bates has not schizophrenia...
