Ok I'm a conspiracy theorist to some extent. The whole thing about the herd mentality does make sense but I think it goes for both sides. My problem with David and other new age believers is the total lack of proof for most of their claims. We can prove that Jesus and Muhammad existed and their deeds and words are well recorded in history. Are reptilians and other extra-terrestrials proven to exist? Ok I'm a conspiracy theorist to some extent. The whole thing about the herd mentality does make sense but I think it goes for both sides. I mean sure most people just like to believe what they hear on the news but what about the people who only believe in conspiracy theories? I mean aren't they no different? Some people are blinded by hate (or another factor) on both sides that they'll believe anything the person on their side says. That is just my opinion.

Conformity is in essence a good thing, but that's happened today is it's been hijacked by intellectual fascists. A certain degree of conformity is necessary for a healthy society, but that happens when it's taken to extremes is what worries me. My problem with David and other new age believers is the total lack of proof for most of their claims. We can prove that Jesus and Muhammad existed and their deeds and words are well recorded in history. Are reptilians and other extra-terrestrials proven to exist? No. Are multiple layered-dimensions proven to exist? No. Is the theory on a collective consciousness proven to be fact? No. I have a hard time putting a lot of stock into what he says.

If you look at Mithra stories, which predate the Bible, Mithra is extremely similar to Jesus. My point is that, people believe what they choose to believe for their own reasons. @27ljta Well, honestly that's just a supposition on my part. If you've been researching him, you probably know more than I do. I've just seen newer videos of Icke that raise my suspicions. However, much like Alex Jones, in some of his videos--particularly like this one, from 1996--he seems legit. So my theory is, at some point he sold out to the propaganda machine, or he was in it from the beginning (gain a trusting viewership and then start to introduce outlandish ideas) [cont'd ...]

I dont need to watch a lecture telling me that evil is not evil and God allows evil because of "free will" or any other garbage reason for tolerating evil...Evil is easy to discern and should obviously be destroyed but our loving God allows it to exist because he cant break his own rules...circular thinking is useless

And if you say anything on his videos that is against him all of his little followers will cry and complain about how you haven't "woken up" and that alex jones is a god. The sheep argument is over done and is OVER simplistic,
People do all types of things for all types of reasons
It's been proven, people work off of incentives and what they "get" out of something.
But there are all types of incentives that people do things for.
The real root questions we should be asking, are "what are people striving for"
Are these ideals even healthy and good?
If something is healthy and good, and the "herd" is striving for it, THAT's A GOOD THING. It all depends on the goal
