@skoulikanterass this isnt the original Winstons amen brother drum loop. Notice there's no second bass drum hit between the 1st and 2nd beats (more prominent towards the end where the drum beat changes from an 8 beat loop to a 4beat loop) It's replaced with a hi-hat or stronger ride cymbal. I've tried to mimic that from the original amen loop and it doesnt work because the ride cymbal sample cant stretch farther than 1/16th of a beat like it does in this track. these drums were recreated.

is it? maybe a tiny bit in parts, you have to remember they had very limited sampling time in those days and it was much much harder to cut up vocals and sync them than it is today, time stretching and stuff was an absolute nightmare in those days.
