I think when WCW had the NWO vs Sting angle, the percentage of people who thought wrestling was "real" was at an all time high. The original storyline with the NWO taking over WCW just had this crazy realism about it and the way the show was put together. I don't think anything could ever touch the NWO vs Sting feud in 1997 in terms of believability.

Lewis was one of the few Tyson didn't knock out when he was younger, he didn't knock out Bruno either. In later matches he beat people he lost to in her earlier career. The problem with Tyson was he went nuts with his own propaganda and lost his focus, then got beat and couldn't get it back.

67,000 is hardly just above, they'll probably get close to 70,000, I was just guessing how many they'd get, maybe they didn't have the upper upper upper level seats available since you wouldn't be able to see anything.
Either way, 60k, 70k, 80k, whatever, it's still more than probably 98% of events in any sport or entertainment.
Actually WM VII was moved because of poor ticket sales. They tried to pump up biz by having Slaughter and Den. Adnan burn the American Flag when that leaked out they experienced alot of backlash they decided to burn a poster of Hogan and that led to death threats and the movement to LA sports arena.

Wrestlemania 7 was suppose to draw 100k fan in LA. They move it across the street and only drew 16k fans. I really dont think they moved it because of terrorist. I think they moved it because couldnt fill the building

look do you honestly think vince would move an event to an arena holding 16,000 if they had sold 100,000 tickets? the "sniper" story is an excuse. Type in "wrestlemania VII ticket sales" into google. Either they hadnt sold any tickets or vince had to do about 84,000 refunds, hmmmmmm?......

are you serious?-do you really believe vince is going to openly admit that they didnt sell enough tickets, he's a businessman trying to make his product look good, not a complete idiot. It's well documented they didnt sell enough tickets. He could have moved it to much larger indoor venues, why one which only holds 16,000? Major city like LA-could have picked from loads of arenas, face it the story is full of holes.

It really doesn't matter to me one way or another, because the only one who knows for sure is Vince, we can speculate all we want.
This stuff is why I didn't read the Death of WCW because it was written by people who weren't involved, dunno where you got your info (and it might be true, but now I'm talking about wrestling in general), but when I look at stories, there are so many false "common knowledge" ideas of WCW for instance. People have been brain washed about why they failed.

WWE is a publicly traded company, therefore if requested they have to provide any information about the business. So, he probably won't addmit it on tv, but if requested by share or stakeholders WWE has to produce any information requested.

67,000 is hardly just above, they'll probably get close to 70,000, I was just guessing how many they'd get, maybe they didn't have the upper upper upper level seats available since you wouldn't be able to see anything.
Either way, 60k, 70k, 80k, whatever, it's still more than probably 98% of events in any sport or entertainment.

Actually WM VII was moved because of poor ticket sales. They tried to pump up biz by having Slaughter and Den. Adnan burn the American Flag when that leaked out they experienced alot of backlash they decided to burn a poster of Hogan and that led to death threats and the movement to LA sports arena.
