restart you computer. This is a pretty common glitch that happens. Also try to use your [ ] keys to re size your brush. and if all else fails you might have to reset the preference file.

You can drag from one image to another. Sounds like the image your cutting is a lower res than the one you're pasting into. Look at the Pixel sizes to see the size first

This is a very poor example of thinning a model using PS as for one the model has no curves to match as her shape is rather square and she is wearing black covering most of her body. Not a very realistic example. No colors to fix as liquify is a distructive filter and distorts color badly(especially skin tones}.It would be much easier to get this result by creating a selection of her body copy to a new layer above orginal ant using the free transform tool.Much faster and if you are a
