  • From what I heard so far Borla makes the best one for the new 5.0 !!!

  • Omg even those little growls from accel and slowing down gimme a huge boner. like at 2:07 -

  • @DAN4279 yes you can

  • Outstanding Mustang. Very well done.

  • @YerBuddy2 Thanks!!

  • Love it! That exhaust sounds badass! My Lincoln could never compare to the sound of that 5.0 even with headers and full exhaust. Thumbs up!

  • @MrHotrodlincoln Thanks!!

  • is the hushpower axle back too loud for every day driving?

  • @roanster1 No i have it on my '11 gt. Sounds a good bit louder with this o/r x pipe.

  • @roanster1 No it isn't too loud even with the O/R X-pipe. My uncle has them on his '11 GT with the factory cats and it has the same tone but is definitely quieter.

  • Hey man, where'd you get those stripes that are on the hood?

  • @Mustanger13 I got those off of Ebay. They were like $30 for the pair. They really make you notice the raised part of the factory hood.

  • You know that chill you get on the back of your neck and it makes your hair stand up? I got that when the car cranked up.

  • @adamlesh Thanks!!

  • what kind of a 5.0 is this ??

i saw the 5.0 in the dealership it was different

this black thing near the tail lights and he rims

  • @jackazz911 It is a standard 2011 GT. I put the blackout panel between the taillights on the car. The car has the stock 18" wheels.

  • sounds great

  • To me the Hushpower are the only mufflers that make the 5.0 sound good.

  • it sounds like a beast! to bad it looks like a girls car though

  • omg every time i get back here the sound gets me... fuckin sick

  • Car sounds great man and great choice on the car!!!!!! Can you message me on details and pricing please? Thanks.

  • @20ROUSH11 Thanks and I sent you a message.

  • man your car sounds awesome

  • i couldnt help but smile at the acceleration at 3:34, your car sounds amazing. thanks for the vid!!

  • @sheldonisnumberone Thanks!!

  • If I wanted to get this same setup installed, how much would install + parts cost me about?

  • @GoUSofA X-pipe is $299, axleback was $395. I would say about 1-2 hours of labor at an exhaust shop.

You will need to have a handheld tuner to keep from getting 'check engine light' because of doing away with the cats.

A 'tune' is recommended to get the full benefit of the X-pipe.

  • Does your car still have the resonators in place or did you cut them out?

  • @Bctexascrazy1 Yes, this with the resonators in place.

I actually cut them out the next day after this video was taken. It was obnoxiously loud without them in place. I went back the following day and had them welded back in!!!

  • That's a gay shade of blue.

  • @hawkermustang Sorry but i dont see any videos of your much less gay colored mustang or whatever your drive, and i'm sure whatever you do drive cant tear like this one does at 3:37.

  • @therook1110 Lol, the stang sounds like a beast, and the new 5.0 rocks. I just don't like the easter egg color. To each his own though.

  • @hawkermustang fully agree about the color bro, i would have gone with something different too.

  • the x pipe really brings the car ALIVE!!!

  • This is my dad's ride and I filmed it, but this IS with the stock resonaters in place, he got them cut out and said it was TOOO loud and got them put back in after 2 days of having them out (didn't get to get a video).... Thought I'd give anyone a heads up!!

  • @ttopgt Thanks Brandon and Aron for getting this video up!!

The startup was a 'warm' startup. It is a little louder on a 'cold' startup for the first few seconds until the motor idles back down to about 800 RPM's

The video of inside the car was taken with the radio off and the windows up.

  • @ttopgt im still debating but ill probably end up with the hushpower, although there will be no o/r xpipe. Do you think the car would be too loud if i cut the resonators out and just left the stock pipes from the resonator's back? I think the o/r x pipe probably just made it too loud without the resonators, at least thats what im hoping for because i wanna see those damn bashed in from the factory things gone. Please reply thanks

  • @jcmknl2005 I think as long as you keep the stock midpipe then it wouldn't be too loud without the resonators.

  • @z28th1s you have to remember, It is a camcorder, Everything is going to be a bit loader, As long as you can still hear the turn marker, You should be fine

  • @jcmknl2005 ok thanks man

  • Sounds much better than the Mangnaflow axleback!! Not that raspy at all!

  • @jmc6000 I said the same thing!!

  • awesome set up

  • Thanks! I've been looking for a good Hushpower + OR X-pipe vid!

  • pretty awesome.
