Continuing the trend from previous years, in 2008 China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and the United States of America were the five states with the highest rate of executions. Together they carried out (93%) of all executions worldwide.
She says she received hundreds of calls from reporters, and was suffering health problems from the stress, being forced to relieve the experience all over again, and just wanted it to end. Said she could loose her job even, there too many people there harassing her apparently.
he was prosecuted and found guilty. he should be extradited and serve out the sentence. shouldn't matter what he's done since then. he did the crime, he fled, he's just like Ira Einhorn.
Social decline is going to ruin this planet. Just let the guy serve his sentence. Its normal to sympathize fellow human beings but if were just going to break laws established in the process and have actual order in our societies then we're just going to ruin everything in the end cause we use our emotions to get the best of our intelligence.
It is not up to the victim to drop the case. No disrespect to this person, the State brought the charges and the State does this because many times the victim will drop charges letting the criminal re-offend.
I understand her wanting to move on, however, criminals must be punished
Once the victim makes a complaint, is out of their hands. The police investigates, take it to the DA and based on the evidence, the DA takes it to court.
This is not a civil action, this is a criminal offense.
Polanski was found guilty and skipped before sentencing. It is not up to her whether or not the State goes after him. It is the State's duty to make sure justice is served.

Here American women set a new standard of "rape". Don't approach American woman less than half a meter, cause she'll be raped sodomized, American women are obviously such whores that their asses act like magnet, and they get raped sodomized with no blood, no injury, on either "victim" or "perpetrator".
But she can say that she was wrong aabout her portrayal of the event, and then all of you iranian psychopats become fulish as you already are. it seems your lives are so empty that you would prefer to offer your ass being molested so that polanski could go to jail and you score a little "victory" in your failed lives.
It has to do with Iran as Iran is paradigmatic for this kind of mad obsession with a minor sexual detailed burried 30 years ago, compared to real problems that are huge and get no attention. It has with Iran cause many of those who cry "child rapist" even suggest on camera he should be shot, get life in prison etc. I had no better metaphora, inquisition perheps, but since Americans are at odds with Iran, I thought comparison is good.
it does not even matter stupid if she changes her story as pedp polanski admitted his guilt to all the facts in the case- he got her drunk and raped her and that makes you horny- you just dont want your fantasy smashed do you perv ?
No mercy for child molesters even if they are rich and famous. It doesn't matter that the victim wants the crime dismissed. A crime against the victim is not just a crime against one victim. It's also a crime against the state, because it could have been someone else. No mercy!
You just said a 13 year old is hot, go to sleep thinking that then make love to your daughter and little sister.... you know you think they are hot too.

He should be prosecuted to the fullest extent and if he gets off that would be major bs.

he was already prosecuted for the original crime and found guilty. He skipped the country before sentencing.
If you are meaning prosecute him for running and not serving his prison sentence. I agree

He should be sentenced, but as long as he stays in countries where they like child rapists, who really cares?

It just goes to show you that some can avoid justice. The law is never equally applied to the rich or to those with certain pedigrees or bloodlines.
He should be placed in jail for the rest of his life, but we all know that will never happen.

it does not matter if she wants the case dropped
