Since I'm on the other side of the chair then most people watching this.. I have other sights on the whole thing.

I personally do listen to the client. I ask a lot of questions so I can cut it so they will like it.

Things can always go wrong though. Everyone makes mistakes in their jobs. I try my best to.. well not make them since it's on someones head.

If someone doesn't like it, we always try and do the best we can in fixing the problem. I've had to fix tons of haircuts over the years

I hate it when clients come in with super short hair and ask for a 'new' style or 'layers'. Short hair IS already layered, it is obviously NOT one length all over. When it is this short the options are very limited unless the client wants extensions or a spikey cut. They should have used a different model.

How I do: Tell them i want short on the sides and back and slightly longer top and front. They ask how short, I take almost shortest with the machine. They cut hair for 15-30 mins, then they ask if its ok or not, I say ok. Last they ask if I want some gel and stuff and I say yes (it's included). Needed: Money, Pre book time at hair salon, 45 min. DONE

i brought a photo into a hair appointmnet, a good photo too, it showed a lot of detail and asked for that same hair cut. all i wanted was some sideswipped bangs, a choppy look and a full crown(because my crown is always flat when im at home). so after its finished i basically have a mullet. no exaggeration, i litterally had a mullet. bangs well above my eyebrows, and a long trail of hair down the back of my neck.

i cried for three weeks....
