  • My APUSH teaches loves this song. And she's one of those teachers who is strict about the accuracy of historical movies and such (an inside joke of our class is constantly asking if we can watch The Patriot. The answer's always no).

    "The point of this song is to take the most boring information, and make you remember it"

    Now why couldn't they have done that for more things?

  • My APUSH teacher is really quite lenient...we just finished watching Forrest Gump in class. He shows us clips from The Onion and John Stossel that poke fun at current events (The Onion) and take the opposing, more realistic side of the argument being seen in the media (John Stossel).

    I wish there could have been more leniency throughout the course to be more creative. Now that the test is over we are having presidential debates tomorrow and then we are creating our own political parties:)
