Love deeres, all i own is deeres. Wouldn't trade em for anything, but they arent the best pulling tractors. For pulling, I love Ollies!

@ackermanfarms Maybe quality in the weeds if you own a new one. Itll be the most un-rusted POS in the weeds cause mostly everyting is plastic. high resale because of the color and the name on the side.

Ah man don't dis the deere man. The old deeres are tough as nails. But the new ones are all plastic. I would take any other tractor over a deere but they are still damn good tractors.

The 2255 was tested in Nebraska at 146.72 pto hp.The laterones got he 636cid Cat3208.The 2255 could have not been made beyond late 1974.

Great tractors!!! We have 2 2255's with the 3150 Cat V8. Plus several other Olivers. The best "green" tractor out there! Can't afford the other green tractors!!

2255 White/Oliver had a 3150 which was 573 cui Cat Engine,.175 hp @2600 rpm and 150 hp @ PTO.

From 1972-74 the engine was the 1150 (V-200) and then for 1975-76 it was the 3208.
