  • the 6th time nba championshipss!! hope we make it moreee then juss 6

  • Back when i was a Laker fan........miss them days.

  • @Thekingpac2014 yeah its too Hollywood now

  • @classicslayer456 Very true indeed.

  • @Thekingpac2014 yeah these here are true Lakers fans

  • @classicslayer456 I know right.......wonder what happen......now everybody wanna say they Laker fans.......after '03 as a kid i stoped being one.......like you said got too hollywood.

  • Jalen Rose, Mark Jackson, Reggie Miller ... did every Pacer just end up commentating on the NBA?

  • true that....it's so funny how most of the Pacers players end up becoming commentators after they retire so they can still have the big paycheck....cuz coaching is a hard job which just sucks for the losing coach...even refereeing or being part of management is rough.....so might as well be an announcer....so much more fun....lol !!!!!!

  • They seem very chill.....considering that they're about to win a championship

  • imagine how happy magic was after this series

  • nothing better than the NBA ON NBC

  • i a lakers fan but they are the 16 time nba champions

  • I would've liked to have seen Reggie Miller with a championship. He deserved one

  • Damn, I wish the Pacers had won. I love Larry Bird and Reggie Miller.

  • that's got to be worst way to lose...after Kobe hit those 2 free throws with 2.2 seconds left, putting Indiana down by 5 points...they know the game is over at that point, but it just gets drawn out...

  • robert horry= biggest balls in the nba

  • @djfkeld His balls are always bouncing to the left and to the right.

  • celtics still hold 17 titles keep on hatin kobedickriderr

  • @plantain007 how many times have the celtics missed the playoffs again? or even been relevant in the last 20 years? Id rather be a Laker fan with one less championship and actually get to watch a contender every year than be a celitics fan.

  • @TheDirtball69 ohyeah getting sweep by the mavs in the playoffs are some real contenders ...u wishh

  • @plantain007 Oh yeah getting destroyed by the Heat in the second round, and starting out 0-3 this season, the Celtics are reeeaaal contenders. And at least when we got our asses kicked it was against the future champions, Celtics lost to Queen James and Heatles. lol

  • @neptunitedistraction u mad im talking about last season and besides atleast we put up competition and not go 4-0 agaist a shitty mavs team that isnt even that good anymore hahaa

  • @plantain007 We put up a good fight, games 1 and 4 were very close games even though we didn't win those. So first you say you're talking about LAST season, then you say the Mavs "aren't even good anymore" THIS season. Make up yo damn mind. Last season they proved to be the best team in the league, they were in no way "shitty"... lol

  • 10 years later we kicked celdicks ass to raise up our 16th banner. Go Lakers lets make it to 17th championship 2011-2012! :D

  • I love watching these kinds of videos and then looking forward to 2009, 2010...Little did this Kobe know that all of this success was lying for him in the future. I love that. Keep doin' what you're doing Kobe!

  • I'll never forget the sound of that final buzzer

  • First of many for Shaq and Kobe.

  • Need some b ball .. Gotta basketball jones

  • LAKERS all day baby.fuck last year dis gna b a new 1.

  • shaq..what a deserving man..made

me want to cry after the buzzer rang :(

  • 1999-2000 lakers: swaagggg

  • Words of young Kobe "Can't wait to do it AGAIN". Little did he know that he'll be doing it AGAIN multiple times in the future...

  • @cvj24 oh he knew. great ones do.

  • @13SuperKings jordan had pippen one of the greatest players and defenders and rodman the best defender of all time

  • man shag was so dominant and athletic back then

  • I love it when the commentator goes if your shaq you wont to get as far as away from the ball as possible

  • Cant wait do it again!

way to go Kobe Bean =)

  • Lakers Nation!

  • "cant wait to do it again"

  • @ 2:45 thats where mark jackson came up with the phrase "momma there goes that man" hahah

  • Of course, this was the post-Michael Jordan era in Chicago when this Laker dynasty began, and it would have been interesting to see them and these Lakers meet again in the Finals if Jordan was still there.

  • My favorite Lakers championship team

  • The Lakers didn't win until they got Glen Rice{3rd option) in trade as well as the maturation of Kobe and Defence from Horry and Fox.

  • Kobe Johnson.

  • Lebron traveled.

  • @binka21 thats too old get a life

  • @Lebronfan1219 ya but it made you laugh

  • @binka21 it didn't

  • @Lebronfan1219 well I wrote it 4 days ago and I'm still laughing. Me and all my friends just been hanging out in my room not doing shit just laughing at my comment that Lebron traveled. My buddy on the floor right now rolling around laughing his ass off. Now I gotta go bcuz I can't control my laughter!

  • @binka21 your lifeless i still can't believe the time i had with ur mom 4 days ago

  • @Lebronfan1219 haha you got all pissed off i win

  • @binka21 i got u to think its over so i win

  • @Lebronfan1219 ya but your comment was full of hostility and revenge, mine was full of humor. therefore, i win the comment championship.

  • @binka21 haha just like the lakers in the video

  • While watching this video where i work, somebody played the song Champion of Chipmonk feat. Chris rown. Does it means something to you? Because for me that's exactly what Kobe is.

  • Larry Bird: Crap. I have to beat the Lakers in a Game 6 again

  • 2:25 joe crawford had hair!

  • Best Laker roster

  • @cookStuh5 Best Laker rooster? what in the hell does that mean?

  • @binka21 just what i wrote. all star laker sqaud, imma laker fan, die hard fan !!!

  • @mstarajiahtyes excuse me but a rooster is a type of bird. it's a male chicken.

  • @binka21 STFU, its a fucking TYPO. Its veryy apparent ! Stupid FUCK..

  • @binka21 suck a fat one why don't you..

  • @mstarajiahtyes how bout I suck your fat one chill your ass out

  • mrslik is a sad virgin who knows shit about ball

  • reggie always sucked dick

  • props to larry bird for coaching the pacers to the finals.

  • if you looked closely you can see that LeBron traveled at least 3 times

  • Comment removed

  • frobe .

  • I miss Kobe's Afro. :(

  • whats up with the black line on the left side of the jersey?

  • @slaughterhouse1212 I imagine to pay respect to a fallen past nba player

  • @slaughterhouse1212

Wilt Chamberlain died during the 99-00 season, so the Lakers had black stripes in their unis that year to honor him.

  • @dbadefense1990 thank you

  • @slaughterhouse1212 This is the best Lakers team ever 67wins and 15 losses real shit im loving this

  • @manhbx96 yeah this team was awesome, but even though the 00-01 team didnt have as dominating a regular season, that 15-1 postseason run especially the sweep of the spurs in the wcf was as dominate a team i ever saw!

  • @thediesel23 But look at Kobe.. Look how quick he runs & jumps on Shaq as soon as they won the Championship..

  • best lakers dynasty 2000-2002 now thats a three peat for ya :)

  • "CAN'T WAIT TO DO IT AGAIN!"

  • Bryant at 3:02: RING ME, baby.

How's that look to you, LeBum?

  • I wish People would just STFU and appreciate how great the kobe and shaq duo was. Enough of this Kobe needed shaq, or shaq needed kobe bullshit, just appreciate how great these two were together, and if they had been able to set aside their differences, im 100% sure they would have won more together. LONG LIVE THE LAKERS!!!! Fan since 02!

  • Kobe, Shaq, Rice, Harper, Green, Fox, Fisher, Horry, Shaw, what a team Mr. West put together that year... amazing..

  • @Manbeast222 Fuck the Lakers.

  • the FIRST of THREE

  • Pause at 2:29 24bpts. 24-his future number weird

  • jon celestand is the man

  • Larry Bird is the greatest coach Indiana pacers has ever had

  • @theerraticone How about Larry Brown? He helped build much of what Bird inherited.

  • Sucks that we wont see a 3-peat this time...:(..but oh well...2009 and 2010 NBA Champions is pretty good...and making it 2 the finals 3 years in a row...

  • im miss the late 90's, early 2000's, nba on nbc, bob costas and so much heartbreak for reggie miller

  • Man why cant lakers arena be like this

  • Remember, Lakers didn't win until Kobe developed. If Kobe was truly a sidekick, then the Lakers would have won the first year when they got Shaq and Kobe since Shaq was already developed at that point. But no, it took Kobe some time to develop his game and that's when they started winning.

  • @peterdabest94

they won when phil jackson came.

  • @peterdabest94

they won when phil jackson came.

  • @peterdabest94 This whole 3 peat was weak...Weak Pacers team...too old...and weak sixers and nets...the whole thing was a sham...no competition...this isnt a real dynasty...the league was watered down for a brief period while the lakers were winning these three titles.

  • @MrSlik25 I hate the Lakers, but the fact of the matter is they were beating tons of good teams in the West. Sure, the teams that were sent from the East were weak, but they Lakers still proved how good they were by making it to the finals 3 years in a row.

  • @squeemu Tons of good teams??? Cut it out...This is not a dynasty...They are not Showtime...Not the Celt's...Not the Pistons...Not the Bulls...Not the Spurs....Every real dynasty i just named would destroy this team.

  • @MrSlik25

Are you drunk, high, or just stupid? The Western Conference was loaded with strong teams in this period--Portland w/Rasheed Wallace, Pippin and co.; San Antonio with Duncan and Robinson; Sacramento w/Chris Webber, Bibby, Divac; Utah was still strong with Stockton and Malone. LA handled 'em all.

You must be some kind of suckass Celtics fan or somethin'.

  • @MrSlik25 What about the bulls opponents?

92 blazers coun't beat an aged magic in 91 or isiah in 90?

93 suns were 5 minutes away from being beat by an 8th seeded lakers team in the 1st rnd

96 sonics were the first team in NBA history to lose to an 8th seed as a #1 seed in 94, then they lost to the Lakers in the 1st rnd in 95

  • @DoomDarenxbourg 92 Blazers, 93 Suns, and 96 Sonics would all destroy these

Lakers...Theres no doubt about it...These Lakers had a few close calls in the playoffs themselves...Don't forget about those CHEATING REFEREES!!! THAT HELPED THEM BEAT THE SACRAMENTO KINGS!!! WE ALL KNOW ITS TRUE!!!....Like i said..The whole 3 peat was a sham.

  • @MrSlik25 Like when the refs disallowed howard isley's 3 against the the bulls in game 6 of the 98 finals before HT.

How would the 96 sonics destroy these Lakers when that same sonics team lost to a Lakers team with van exel, divac & ceballos in 1995? The 8th seeded Lakers almost upset the suns in the 1st rd in 93, the suns needed OT in game 5 to avoid that upset. An aged Magic beat the blazers in the 91 WCF, the blazers had the best record in the NBA that year, & the Lakers upset them.

  • @MrSlik25 As for the Kings, they CHEATED. Kobe getting food poisioning eating at the sacromento hotel before game 2. The kings choke in game 4, leading 48-24 in the 2nd QT, allow the Lakers to rally. Divac misses 1-2 freethrows which allows horry to win the game on a 3. Game 5, shaq shoots 1 freethrow & fouls out, webber knocks fisher down, no call, jackson fouls Kobe at the end, no call. Game 6 Lakers shoot 40 FT, shaq has 17 of them, the kings hacked shaq hopeing he would miss, he makes 13-17.

  • @DoomDarenxbourg Like i said...IT was a SHAM.

  • @peterdabest94 They won when Phil Jackson came. you also gotta give love to the 7 time champion Robert Horry. It was a great team. You don't 3 peat by yourself that's for sure.

  • @peterdabest94 Good point. Don't forget, too, that neither Kobe nor Shaq won anything until Phil Jackson began coaching the Lakers. In 1998 and 1999, the Jackson-less Lakers were swept in the playoffs by the Jazz and the Spurs.

  • @peterdabest94 wow best comment i've heard in a while

  • @locd2death top comment on youtube is Lebron traveled.

  • @peterdabest94

They started winning when Phil got there.

any legit SG could have replaced Kobe. but no one could replace Shaq.

  • @jasoncsh Any SG, huh? Kobe was a perennial All-Star and also made the All-NBA 1st team and All-Defensive 1st team while with Shaq. So you're just making up bullshit.

  • @peterdabest94

I agree with that up to a point. Shaq was OFF THE CHARTS in 1999-2000. He was never better...one of the best single seasons in history, regardless of the sport. And yes, Kobe developed. But LA also added some great role players (Shaw, Harper, Green, Salley) with big time/championship experience. I think it just became their time...much the way that MJ needed Pip and Grant to ascend in '91...but he was still the undisputed bellcow of that team. 2001 was when it became 1/1a in LA

  • @peterdabest94 and they also got Phil Jackson

  • @peterdabest94 they won because of their teamwork

  • @watupdawgdawg exactly.

  • @peterdabest94 just like when shaq won in miami. They didn't win their first year, D-wade had to develop a couple years to become a true mvp and that's when they won the championship.

  • @peterdabest94 Michael Jordan had a game when he came into the NBA, but not a team. Kobe is maybe the 5th best player of all time.

  • this is when i liked kobe. not now.

  • Among those joining NBA in 1996, Bryant is lucky to have firstly Shaq and now Gasol, Bynum & Odom as teammates. But hardwork also plays a major part in his success. I somehow really feel sad for AI, Nash etc... They are also the true warriors

  • Among those joining NBA in 1996, Bryant is lucky to have firstly Shaq and now Gasol, Bynum & Odom as teammates. But hardwork also plays a major part in his success. I somehow really feel sad for AI, Nash etc...

  • Bob Costas on the mic!!!!! I love it!!!!!

  • Why, oh why, did the Lakers gut their bench. Fox, Fisher, Horry, Harper, Shaw - all great.

  • this was one of the deepest teams ever

  • shaq looked dumb ass hell

  • all I'm saying is 3peat baby, can't for June and f**k all the lakers haters, lakers-4life baby))) go lakers!!!

  • Croshere, that guy came off the bench in the playoffs, made some shots, and got a very generous contract to average around 7 and a 1/2 points per game shooting 40% for his Pacer "career"

  • cant wait to do it again.....ill never forget those words...

  • Kobe 2000 Finals: 33/90 = 36%; This Game : 8/27 = 29%. He Was Name Worst Performance In NBA Final Series.

  • @TheLucifer69 yeah shaq was the one who carried the lakers in this series. he kept on killing the pacers and was named mvp.

  • @TheLucifer69 Alright but who's team ended up prevailing?

  • lol at fan screaming "kobe you did it baby!"

  • we should go to kb24 and post that kobe shuld grow his afro again

  • I wish Kobe would bring the fro back

  • IF SHAQ NEVER LEFT THERE WOULD BE 10 TITLES INSTEAD OF 5 FOR KOBE

  • LARRY BIRD LOOK LIKE BIG BIRD ON CRACK GO LAKERS

  • Magic whispers to Larry 6:33 : hey Larry, Lakers are always owning u lol

  • Shaq > Kobe

  • @BabbarKhalsaZindabad kobes better

  • kobe's field goals in this game is 8/27...ROFL HAHAHAHAHA That's below 30%. That is just horrible shooting. No wonder he's not MJ....

  • @MessageInBlood1 don't judge a player on a field goal percentage of 1 game dumbass. And anyways he still won it.

  • @jlimproj you obviously are not checking his goal percentage of this season. Learn how to count. Then...count how many games he had where he shot around 30-35%...idiot.

  • @MessageInBlood1 kobe career field goal percentage so far - 45.5%

    that is a good percentage.

  • @jlimproj Kobe is a terrible shooter. The fact still remains that he shoots 30-35% from time to time.

  • @MessageInBlood1 you do realize it isn't the easiest task to shoot a great % when ur well known as the best player in the NBA and are almost always double teamed, and even soemtimes draw a triple team. Think about it.

  • @chasen1982 You need to think harder mate...the greatest players get high % FG regardless of being double teamed or not.

  • @MessageInBlood1 Kobe Bryant career FG% 0.454 Michael Jordan 0.497 and Lebron 0.479.... I wasn't going to throw Lebron in there cause technically he isn't a Guard like Jordan or Kobe. He is actually a Forward and has a huge size advantage over Kobe and Jordan. So ud expect Lebrons % to be higher due to the fact he's inside more for lay ups or power dunks 6'8 250 vs 6'6 205 (kobe-jordan)... But 0.454 isn't exactly the worst FG%

  • @chasen1982 From time to time, kobe shoots 30% from the field.....that's waht I dont like about him. He's a ball hogger and he missed lots of shots and cost the game. And of course the lakers fan dont blame him for that cause there are bunch of pitty fan boys. lolz

  • @MessageInBlood1 dude everyone probably has a lower FG% from time to time.. are u just making up the 30% number or did you actually read that some where as a true stat/fact?? Also Im a huge Lakers fan I agree Kobe USED to be a ball hog when he was young. Alot of young talented athletes are that way though. If you watch Kobe now he is by no means a ball hogger. Last game agains the Hornets he only attempted 2 shots in first half and like 5 or 6 attempts in 2nd half. U just dont like Kobe?

  • @chasen1982 nope...i check kobe's FG% EVERY GAME. And he gets around 30-40% A LOT.

  • @MessageInBlood1 O ok well that's cool... I tell ya what in 4 or 5 more seasons check to see who the leading scorer is of all time

  • @chasen1982 45% is not exacty bad, it's actually pretty good. But when laker fans and kobe fans constantly compare him to Jordan and claim him as the greatest ever, it just is not elite enough. Even reggie miller shot a higher career fg% and he was a 3 point shooter specialist. Kobe is legendary, just not MJ legendary

  • @MessageInBlood1 and btw his field goal percentage for this season was 46.8 % which is a very solid %.

  • @jlimproj Hard to believe for someone who shoots 30-35% and cost the game.

  • @MessageInBlood1 just dont hate kobe man....hes a good shooter and one of the best players of all time..

  • I wish staples center was as loud as that today

  • shaq should come back 2 the lakers an retire as the lakers get the 4-peat

  • Why was it much lighter at Staples then?

  • NBA on NBC again please!

  • I love that hug between Kobe and Shaq.

  • i hated reggie when he gestured the "choke" sign to spike lee >:(

  • bahaha....the crowd chanting M-V-P for SHAQ! Never forget, Laker fans. HE was the reason, the MAIN reason, you won all those titles.

  • @GrooTheWanderer80 It's true. But every single Kobe dickrider denies it.

  • @sk8ervzla True.... it takes a team son no one wins alone

  • @GrooTheWanderer80 hey hey. shaq was good back then.

  • @GrooTheWanderer80

yeah and shaq didn't win anything until kobe came around, it's called a TEAM game.
