To be honest, I -hate- this song except for the fact that these are probably the best "combat" solos ever written between Mustaine and Friedman, aside from how awesome the solos are in and of themselves. The whole "song titles as lyrics" is cute, but everything seems so forced and comes across as just a silly gag.

"Gay" ... blah. Why does it always fall to "gay"? Its not that Metallica is gay, its that their music gets completely boring after the first minute and a half, its so damned repetitive and uninspired. They turned 3 minute songs into overprocessed 6 to 8 minute ballads that didn't go anywhere. Mustaine (with his degree in Music Theory) always knew where to turn a song and how to do it well and entertainingly/interestingly ... 'Deth songs never got boring after hearing them a handful of times.
