Can you do a video of the connection status with the antenna pulled out at various lengths? I want to see how well it performs with the antenna in. I think it's really ugly to have to pull it out to use wifi. This'll be the deciding factor as to weather or not I get one and sell my 80gb archos 605 on ebay.

I can't wait for mine to come tomorrow,or pretty much technically today. I heard the interface needs a lot of improvement,not too worried since Cowon is great about rolling out new firmware;and I also hope there are alternative skins,I don't like this Windows CE5.0 look,makes me feel like I'm back in 1998.Thanks for posting!

I totally agree with you about the interface thing. I hate the classic windows skin but I don't think that you can change it, I think they put it like that beause the older classic windows skin has speedy performance. and now that you think about it ...can you even change the backround ??? the Q5 looks sooo NON-customizeable !! but I still think it is the best PMP out there...

I would suggest you get a Cowon Q5 since you said you're always on the road right? Well the cowon Q5 has this thing where you can put it on your car windsheild or w/e. Yet I heard the cowon Q5 can also have a GPS compatibility =] so it's great. If I were you I would totally go for the Cowon Q5. Does more stuff.

I got the Q5W,I'm very impressed with it;but,if you're not very good with gizmos,this one ain't for you because until they clean up the interface,it's not easy for everyone to use.The A3 is supposedly very easy to use.The advantage with the Q5W is more features(wifi and GPS capability being the things I like that the A3 can't do);otherwise,the A3 is probably better.

They are both really expensive. the Q5 is available for around 490.00 $ and up to a max of 600.00 $. The Cowon A3 Maxes out at around 400.00 for 60gb. so you know that the A3 is the one to go if you are on a budget
