In 1978, Gold bought a record from them in a club in Berlin-Kreuzberg.

BIG IN JAPAN means that you can pretend to everbody you were big and mighty at another place (Japan) even if you're a scrubby person here. Japan is far far away, people won't find out the truth. :)
