How do you know if its a good turbocharger? Is it the bigger the better?

@TheBrownwetback The bigger the turbo, technically is more compression. However there is a trade off, it would take higher and higher RPMs for the turbo to spool up to generate proper compression the bigger the turbo is. And also the bigger the turbo, the more lag. My advice, calculate the proper diameter for your turbo so you get quick power delivery.

@gabofoolay Thanks man. Tuning was not required but it is suggest to get the most out of the turbo. Yes, the AWD Motorsports kit should work perfectly. However, I would recommend looking on a forum first for the kit (stock 9 parts) as it would be cheaper. evolutionm . net or a local evo forum.

@sergsrt8 almost every place or site that sells turbo kits will have downloadable or legit paper detailed instructions with photos that will help, or hes probably a mechanic (not the hitman kind)

More than likely its not necessary to unplug the crank position sensor most cars late 90s and newer have it so u can hold the pedal to the floor and then turn the key itll have the same effect

@thorracing160 It really depends on your engine, the evo engine is designed for a turbo, the question is: How much boost can it handle, upgrading from 16 to 20, SHOULDNT harm it, but you might wanna do a little research on that.
