  • I enjoyed vedeo without images :)

this song does not need it

  • i remember hearing this was the one song the band didn't want on the album. funny that as a fan, its one of my favs!

  • @PrimarchDarion but i thought he sang it to him at the chicago metro in 93, and it was about his younger brother with the genetic disorder that alot of people said was cerebral palsey but billy said it wasnt.

  • @CondescendingGod thats right

  • @PrimarchDarion that explains a lot thanks!

  • I was ridin in the hatch or bitch or whatever in a CRX which means no seat belt or anything after grabbin a six pack of bud heavy with bob marley crushin the cerwin vegas. dude pulled out of the parking spot headed to mission beach was in 1st gear i looked he's passed the f out, red lining and headed towards an industrial dumpster full o sheet metal. We moved it 6 inches. CRX = suitcase. I walk with contusion on my leg and new perspective on life. I play music now b/c that's reallyallthatmatters

  • The very end is so funny..LOL

  • @uhohitsslowchrome ..They will find out when they get older.

  • One of my favorites too.

  • Who can dislike this!? i say we find them

  • i miss my old child days

  • @cordfluidnevoie Me too!!!! LOL

  • wow this sounds strangely like footsteps by pearl jam

  • on the verge of crying @ 4:30

  • Im naming my child spaceboy

  • @ViciousDeliciousIV Am naming my child... "S.P." :P

  • @ViciousDeliciousIV ...Seriously?..Hope you grow up some before you do have kids.Yes it's a great song but why be a dick to your kid by naming it spaceboy?

  • @svagrod Hey I've heard worse, like celebrity babies

  • @ViciousDeliciousIV ...Your right there...MUCH WORSE...But c'mon your better than they are ! Right? Wasn't trying to be an ass .Just think of all the ribbing your kid would have...Good luck to you and at least your listening to cool music at your age not the Disney crap LOL.Take care!!!

  • when i hear this song i either wanna laugh out load or start crying

  • when i hear this song i either wanna laugh out load or start crying

  • this song is almost an anthem to me how soulless music has become today there may be one or two bands that have kept the soul...but its nearly dead im 15 and when im older ill never think " man i remember listening to justin beiber" ill remember the fine 90's music i so love dearly and hold in my heart i only how we realize what where doing to music ...i do hope before its to late and our worlds overtaken with beiber, gaga and rap Bullshit...

  • @Psycobillyfreakot Hey its not all bad there is still plenty of good music out there try these bands: Poets Of The Fall, Breaking Benjamin, The Fray,Over Dust, Cage The Elephant, Muse, The New Smashing Pumpkins ( Billy is the only original SP in the group LOL), Cat Empire, Sunrise Avenue, Avenged 7 Fold, phoenix, 3 Doors Down. Good music will live on long after you, me and Bill Corgan are dead.

  • All of those bands are horrible.

  • @gavvvvvinrocks Yes, because they're not from the 1990s ha, ha, ha.

  • I hear this song and tears stream down my face instantly.

  • i want to cry now...

  • Spaceboy is spinning around my head..

  • you are one of the selfless cool ones out there my friend....

  • great soundtrack of my best memories... of a teenage life!

  • God I love this song it makes my heart vibe with happiness

  • che gran cazzo di pezzo

  • boy where the f*** have i been? why is this the first im hearing of this?? almost makes me cry thinking he wrote this for his brother. good choice uploading it without distractions

  • Seriously Andremichellavoie ?!! you never heard the pumpkins before :O

I'm so glad for you :) I wish I could hear them, for the first time, all over again.

People who say the Smashing Pumpkins didn't change a thing are talking bollocks. I listened to them, my parents listened to them, my grandparents listened to them. I went to a catholic primary school and the nuns listened to them. They changed hearts and minds. Apologies for the rant. Have a nice day from NewZealand.

  • @SiliconBong i get it, i lived under a very vast, very soundproof rock for many years!! dont have to emphasize further by telling me your nuns in NZ heard it them before me.

hey btw, d'you hear of this nirvana??? holy shit i like the signer, wonder if their still touring.

    jk, breathe.

  • *gives Andremichellavoie a cup of Milo and a chocolate biscuit.

What I meant is that the pumpkins appealed to all sorts of people.

  • awe! thank you soo much for sharing this album! It reminds me of my junior high school years! So much fun! This album...hands down,is one their best. :)

  • this album made my life. i can listen to it over again and again forever. so much love for this record

  • I love this album. Every last song on it.

  • this song is so sad but beautiful. god bless Billy C.

  • one of my favorite songs on the Siamese Dream album - thanks for uploading!!

  • Obviously, I love this song...

  • I think that Billy corgan has a brother who is handicapped.and that this song is for him.and about how Billy missed him when he went away to become a rock star

  • @smitpauly

Yep, that's exactly what it's about. It just makes the song much more beautiful. Such a wonderful song.

  • @smitpauly James Iha also has a handicapped brother. That's why you can feel the emotion in this song.

  • @SeanKing121 No, Billy has a handicapped brother

  • thank you for not adding anything.. gives more to the song.. good job!!!

  • @InvaderMB Thanks for that. I'd always heard the static before, but never really paid much attention to what it said.

  • remember kicking heroin in rehab and this song getting me through alot

  • What is it that they're saying at the end?

I heard something about masturbation somewhere and that it's come between 2 people.

  • Hey man, it's not my fault someone pissed in your cheerios this morning. I just want to know what's said at the end in the static voice.

    Fuck you.

  • @AnkTiouS117 "Now it's, uh, kind of strange, and, uh, kinda hard for me to talk about, but I thought maybe you could help- um, when we start getting physical, rather than having intercourse, he ends up just masturbating himself, and I end up feeling very alienated and unsatisfied, and it's really come between us."

  • My anthem in the late 90's. I used to listen to this CD over and over as I drove around aimlessly in my silver 89 Honda CRX si.

  • @Zentin1 My bff and I did the same in her blue CRX

  • @Zentin1 Cool car. I was doing a pre delivery inspection on the first CRX si in Oklahoma, jammin to some Zepplin when I caught this rich punk in a 944 Porsche at a traffic light. The look on his face was priceless as I smoked his teutonic wunder machine.

  • @Zentin1 Did the same thing on my motorcycle.

  • i owe lots of money say what i feel expressing myself at all costs. i am still spaceboy

  • i put it in my will that this song is played at my burial...feels like it will be soon. i'm 38.

  • great song

  • Glad you just played the song, and I won't complain, except they DIDn't play it 8/8/08!!! FRICK ON A STICK!!! Shucks :(

  • so, this song humming in my mind; lead me on marathons, to peace corps, thru travels solo. im still alone. but this song is always with me. :)

  • im in high school again, crying somewhere...funny how emo we all were at that age. or it was just me, but the Smashing Pumpkins are all of that to me. first love, first hate, art, emotion.... damn now im all grown up and invisible! :)

  • i really liked you comment.

  • It wasn´t just you.

Sometimes it feels like the older you get, the more you fade away from whats real and blend in to the army of faceless unemotional people that consider themselfs grown up.

  • !!! i'm walking with you ingmire71; You're Beautiful :)

  • @ingmire71 nothings really changed.its who we are.grown up or not. its inside of all of us.

  • @ingmire71 we were all a bit emo from pubity

  • Man they are fuckin awesome!

  • I love you baby. I hope that you truly know that. I will see you soon and love you like I never have before. Please know you're my only one that will ever be. Your heart, body and mind. You are so indescribable yet I can realize all of your beautiful qualities that will forevevr be with me. You make me laugh and cry and just make my entire life worth living. I wouldn't trade you for the world. You have soo much potential too. You are the SHIT!!! Bitch!!!! And I love you more than anything.

  • So is the last hidden track on Zwan.. The greatest song he ever made.....

  • this is from Siamese Dream

  • If you want to get a true appreciation of the Genius of Billy Corgan, you should check out some of the SP covers on youtube. Makes you realize how brilliant he really is, especially if you've seen them live.

    Five stars!

  • I've always loved SP's soothing but hard sound. So is SP still up and running, I can never tell. Man this band has been through alot of crap with the whole business. I always love em' though.

  • o.e 4:00-4:30 was strange, this was my first time listening to the whole thing :P

  • A nice little song, so peaceful and so sweet...

and then Silverfuck comes and scares the shit out of you

  • LMFAO that happens to me all the time when i listen to siamese dream haha

  • Is this song about Billy's brother?

  • yep

  • Yerp.

  • Yes, it's about his autistic brother.

  • Great song.

  • The perfect outro to mayonaise , and the perfect prelude to silverf**k Peace

  • Ah, wow, this brings back memories....

I recently found this album in an old stack of CD's, and it made me infinitely happy....

I forgot how much I love this song. ^^

  • This album is and has aged so well . I was 18 when it came out ; and i rediscovered it in 2002 . Aint life full of the prettiest , small and so important details ? ! : )

  • It is, it just has to be. ^^

  • ah spaceboy i've missed you

  • Best album of SP...is just amaizing!

  • love it

  • sicktor berra

  • Good call on uploading it to a black screen. It's perfect, really.

  • And just as this beauty ends, everyone is seen in glee anticipation toward the next song. Every track on this album is good.

  • Reminds me a little bit of "History" by The Verve.

  • i think it sounds incredibly reminiscent of David Bowie's "Space Oddity"

  • Yes it does sound like "Space Oddity" but I wasn't talking about that. I said it reminds me. I didn't say anything about sounding like.

  • Fucking brilliant, it's been a while but again I thought to myself "fuck off Billy you're too good" lol without meaning any disrespect..... superb songwriting and so much emotion coming across, this was the second song I listened to on repeat loads when I first got the album all those years ago, it remains my favourite album it probably always will be thanks Billy

  • @sitcom @ROC @IT haha that is wrong

  • awesome song one of my favs

  • omg i cant find the amazing live version of this song when hes wearing that superman sweater.. does anyone know what happened to it?

  • weird, had it saved in my favs, its vanished there too!if ya find it let me know!!!:)

  • For some reason it violates copyright agreements or something. I had it in my favorites, but I cant watch it anymore. (Sadness...) ;-(

  • Don't worry video would take from the music, this song is also 1 of my faves.

  • j'adore cette chanson, je ne me lasse jamais de l'écouter.

  • Billy said this song is about him and his brother, i love that so damn much

  • great song !! love the fact you left out a distracting video... 2 thumbs up

  • I love this song. <3

  • one of the best albums ever made

  • We Won't Belong!

  • I always thought that line was cool because its kind of saying "We Won't Be Long" as in "we'll be back soon" and kind of saying "We Won't Belong".

  • perfect

  • yeah that song goes along great after this : )

  • Awesome song.... I always remember a trip right after my senior year. Had this blasting from a CD player in the floor board because the car radio didn't work.

    Simply awesome

  • this is a song

  • yeah pumpkins rock!

  • thank you tony :)

  • The HQ option really enhances the experience.

  • The only song ive ever cried to

  • Comment removed

  • wannabe

  • Smashing Pumpkins rock!

  • i think when your listening to this song its a real mix off happy and sad in the music and lyrics

  • yeah, thanks for not putting a video up. sometimes people wreck perfectly good music with horrible attempts to make audio and visual go together. way to leave well alone.

  • On some albums, it's not the ending of Spaceboy, but the intro to SilverF@#k.

  • I always thought of it as the beginning of the next song - I think silverfuck? Spaceboy is way too sweet a song (and too sweet a meaning) to be ended w/ an interview about a masturbating husband. Silverfuck, on the other hand...

  • or the beginning of mayonaise! XD XD i made a dirty joke

  • i love this song and band

  • whah does it says at the end?

  • mayo ftw

  • i love how there aren't any pics it helps u apreciate the song more great job, man

  • amazing

  • I love this song! The Pumpkins f*cken rock.

  • spaceboy..

  • And also, can someone explain what the audio clip at the end is?

  • I believe that it is so that the end of this song blends with the beginning of the next track "silverfuck" if i recall correctly, it's been a long time.

Now I'm gonna go listen to silverfuck.

  • i think billy said it was some talkshow or something where a woman was talking about marital discourse, specifically here with her husband masterbating with himself and billy thought it was funny and decided to include it for the fuck of it...and again, this is only something i read a long time ago

  • Amazing song. One of my favorites next to Drown, Today, Mayonaise, JellyBelly, and 1979.

And does the background music in the chorus remind anyone else of Infinite Sadness?

  • mayo, zero, cherub rock r beast

  • i like Rhinoceros, Methusela, Behold! The Night Mare, East, Vanilla, and 1979

  • soma is great too...

  • i read that this song is the most personal song that he wrote. he wrote it about his younger brother that has autism and cerebral palsy and a mild case of turrets. he was basically a father figure to his brother, and now jesse (billy's brother) is starting to view him more as a friend. that change i read is hard for billy, because he still worries about him

  • He's singing about his little brother..He says so in a live performance

  • He is singing to his younger brother

  • man one of my favorite songs of Smashing Pumpkins, but i dont know wat hes talking about or wat the song means...does anybody know? ive been wanting to know for a long time?

  • hes talking 'bout his little brother jessie.... such a good song, such a rockin band always loved them, from the first time i heard them...

  • My favorite

  • nice song

  • Greatest American Band of the 1990's. No Question!

  • Greatest American Band EVER!!

  • Yeah man, they're still awesome.

  • Greatest BAND ever!

  • Thank you. Great to hear this song again. (and it doesn't need any graphics. Black screen is perfect.)

  • One of my favs too =)

  • Which album is this one on?

  • Siamese Dream

  • sounds better live

  • reminds me of the girls ive been with through darker times, i could fuck to this song

  • great song. but black screen not so good

  • woot woot! ahahaha i need more cranberry juice. LOVE THIS SONG! oh man i wish this was on singstarr!

  • great song

  • kocham~!!! spaceboy i've missed you....

  • esta canción sintoniza con mis secretas emociones

  • spaceboy i miss you, spinning round my head <3 thats love

    sp forever!

    siamese dream= genius

  • "I wanna go home"

Shook me to my core when I heard that lyric, breathtaking.

  • word.

  • I'd like go see a Smashing pumpkins show where they'd play every single song from Siamese Dream.

  • lol

  • thanks

  • Have you ever had a moment walking in the mountains and a warm breeze made you reflect on the day? I think that the weary traveler finds peace in their destination, but somehow along the way all the best sites to see have been missed. Have you seen the snow so heavy that it breaks tree limbs off with green leaves still on? Weather is amazing.

  • this song always remind me of certaint people, and all the good time we had.

  • This song (among many others) will always remind me of a certain someone. Wonder how you are these days...

  • siamese dream, their second album

  • I really wish they would come down to New Orleans again. I saw them at Voodoo Fest and it was so amazing. I was in the center, a person or two away from the front.

  • omg!! i love this song!! i actully started to cry while listening to it!! I LOVE SMASHING PUMPKINS!!!

  • I'm tearing up right now.

  • Perfect.
