Thanks for your reply Jasmine. Unfortunately we are arriving on the 17th April so will miss the Medieval Festival, but we will be there for the Fireworks Festival at the end of the month,we are very much looking forward to our first visit to Malta, and I'm sure we will enjoy it very much.
@RHINO33SJR You're most welcome. Yes, the Malta Internaltional Fireworks Festival is spectacular and it will be held again this year. There will be several Fairs & Festivals during in April as well. I wish your visit to Malta a most memorable one. Warm regards, Jasmine
We will be visiting your lovely resort if April and we are really looking forward to it......watching your video makes me wish I was there now!! It's gonna e a long 7 week wait!! See you soon!
@RHINO33SJR Greetings from Malta. Thank you very much for the wonder comment and compliments. Hope that time flies and soon you would be here spending a memorable holiday. FYI, from 14th to 15th April 2012, there will be the Mdina Medieval Festival. Am not sure if you have been there or have watched the video on our Channel. We enjoyed it very much as Mdina turned into medieval era complemented with interesting activities comprising the era of the Knights. Warm regards, Jasmine
@johnito2232 Greetings from Malta. Thank you very much for the wonderful comment and compliments. St Paul's Bay is one of our favourite places to visit. We were there 2 days ago and noticed that the new project i.e. Malta National Aquarium is underway. Excavation works have already started on the site, which is near the Qawra tower (Ta’ Fra Ben.).
very well made video of St. Pauls, stayed at The Hotel named so and we are staying next time at the Sunseeker Complex. Also stayed at Mallheha Bay several times
I love the area and always enjoy Valletta by bus, that's always a fun trip
@briandjo3891 Thank you very much for your kind compliments. We are so pleased to know that you enjoyed your stay here and have planned for another visit.
It is very convenient go around various places by bus and the bus fares are not costly at all. New buses and services would be commenced soon with more routes by a new management.
Wishing you a most pleasant stay here on your next visit.
thanks for posting this short film of st.paul's bay.i was on holiday there back in 1980,it brought back some wonderful memories of that holiday.it makes me want to go back!!
@kjammo66 Thank you indeed for your comments. Glad that our video brought you fond memories of Malta, particularly St Paul's Bay. St Paul's Bay is one of our favourite Bays.
@MrRiffbear Hi! St Paul's Bay is beautiful but since you would be here for 6 weeks, I humbly suggest you in splitting your stay. In that way you would be able to see more places near its area, besides, meeting new people in that town or village.
St Julians and Sliema are nice too tho' a busy area. The nightlife there is aplenty and much more lively. Many restaurants, pubs, etc. Frequent bus services to Valletta. Nice promenade for leisure walk.
Hello! My family lived for a short time in St Paul's Bay in the early '60's, we rented on Xemxia Hill. I went every day on a bus to a school called Talhandaq, my first experience with British people. It was a wonderful time in my life and I have very warm memories of Malta and the people. You made a really nice video, so wonderful to touch base with a lovely part of my life!
@Grogman Thanks so much for your comment. So pleased to know that our video brought you fond memories of Malta and the Maltese. We visited to the places you mentioned and it was nice.
Hope that you would revisit Malta once again. You are always welcome to Malta.
I've searched for the music arnd I believe it is a classical guitarist called Pedro Javier Gonzalez - can only find it as an MP3 download so far. From an albusm called Guitarra Vol3 Tributo A Los Beatles - if anyone's interested. By the way really liked your video - n have been to Malta many times, the people are very welcoming and friendly. Good job
@ucolleenh Thanks so much for the info and your comments. I will look up Pedro Javier Gonzalez. I love instrumental music and guitar is one of my favourites.
Very nice. I'm working in malta and staying in Bugibba so there are a few things there I didn't recognise so have some scouting to do. Very interesting.
@chezzaz Thanks for your comments. We have uploaded several videos about Malta and its sister-island Gozo including some festivities that took place on both island You are most welcome to visit our Channel jasalf5959
St. Paul's Bay is called St. Paul's bay becasue he was shipwrecked there. Nice country,by the way. I wish I could go there, but my tour of Europe doesn't include Malta. :(
We're sure you'll like St Paul's Bay area. We go there often for walks. There are lots of stores, bars and restaurants. including ice cream parlours :))
Hi Frefflica, there is a Bus Terminal in Qawra, (St Paul's Bay area) in front of the Domein Hotel. You can check the bus numbers/routes on the internet for the destination/s you wish to go. The bus fare is less than a Euro. Another option is that there in the Hop-in Hop-out Sightseeing Bus Tour which takes you to many places.
Wish you and your friends a wonderful stay in Malta.
Thanks Jane and Gaetu. Glad that you enjoyed the video. St Pau;'s Bay, Bugibba & Qawra are some of our favourite places. Beautiful promenades all along the bay, food is aplenty and we love shopping there too.
Thanks Carmen for your kind comments. Many Maltese emigrants enjoy watching views and events that take place in Malta and we're glad that they are making you happy.
Well must admit, it was a nice expericne and location. gr8 place for something like that! but the whole fun is being at the airport around the statics and seeing take off and landings.. which you dont see at stpauls :p
