I think that it is great that everyone has a dream. For me, i am also working on a story. Who says you have to be an adult to be an author i'm only a teenager and i am writing a story. my friends think its great. i totally support everyone out there who has a dream whether it is getting their story published or owning a horse. i love books and everyone should.

Where in the Bible does it say that God created man to follow his dreams? If this is to be called a Christian song, it should at least adhere to Christ's teachings. The purpose of life is to glorify God by and learning to walk in obedience so that He can then create perfect spiritual character in us - something that requires humility. It's not until you come to the end of yourself that you find God. Dreams aren't the answer.
I think this is a case of personal opinion, and what you do (not) believe, it's different for everyone. though it does no harm letting us know what you think, thanks for the comment ^^

If they feel better by believeing there is something more, than its good for them. And if someone does not, well you can't blame them, can you? if you are a true christian God's dreams should become your dreams so you should aim for them. the something , "the stone" that ruins it could easily be the Enemy who wishes that God's will will never come to earth.

Where in the Bible does it say that God created man to follow his dreams? If this is to be called a Christian song, it should at least adhere to Christ's teachings. The purpose of life is to glorify God by and learning to walk in obedience so that He can then create perfect spiritual character in us - something that requires humility. It's not until you come to the end of yourself that you find God. Dreams aren't the answer.

And that's what the song says, not to give up on your dreams. So you think that what your own personal opinion says is disturbing? everyone chases their dreams the way they want to. If they feel better by believeing there is something more, than its good for them. And if someone does not, well you can't blame them, can you? There's only faith for Jesus Christ, no obedience, we're not doggs. Some people just agree with the way he lived and they want to live like that as well..^^
