  • Hi Tara! Thank you for all your videos and your positive energy I love it! Yoga and meditation help me. I also talk with a mentor, I read books that inspire me (the slight edge, magic of thinking big, and how to win friends and influance people). If you have seen "the aviator" story of Howard Houghes there is a musem with the sproose goose close to me i have gone to. I also like going to the coast! I am Dustin 29 and i live in Oregon keep up the good work much love!

  • yo tara ever heard of the kundilini? if you have i VERY VERY strongly reccomend you achieve it. it will make your practice 10x better in every way get back at me!!!

  • i sing in my car. top volume. no shame. people coming the other direction only very quick glimpse, who cares! it makes me feel SO good! if i feel like i really need it, i'll drive around the block and sing even if i have no where to go.

  • Hey Tara! thank you for all your videos(: they help me get through the day. I recharge by going to powells books down in Oregon, i just love going there and looking at books, i bought a few yoga books too(: I also want to say your hat is really cute and im glad your making a video about it! ThAnks -Hailey

  • I recharge by going to the springs here in Florida. Cold, clear water just sort of erupts out of the ground. You can swim over the cave vents or lounge around. When you get out, your entire body hums with energy.

  • Tara, just watching your videos inspire me. I've yet to view a video from you that I haven't taken something from. So, thank you for sharing them with all of us :)

  • Hey Tara! My name is Tori, I'm 16 and I am a dancer. I have just recently found your channel and this week I started you strength building series. I love your videos they are so helpful! I was wondering if you could help me, I have really tight hamstrings and have tried everything to try to stretch them. Do you know of any exercises or tips that could help me?

  • Hi. Thanks for this post and for everyone's ideas. 2 things I can think of for inspiration recharge is to set a timer for a few minutes and try to remember all the good ideas you had or heard over the last week and decide which ones you want to follow up on and to take one line of a song or poem that is stuck in your brain and make your own new verse with it.

You seemed a lil hurried talking on this video than in some of the old ones.

    Nice hat!

  • it is 20 degrees below zero where i live and while everone else is moaning about it, i walked to my swimming pool for 45 minutes and then swam for an hour. I feel so strong now!

  • i recharge with doing any kind of workout/exercise, I feel so energetic, happy, healthy and fit. :)

  • Hello Tara!

Thank you for that new video :)

Do you think you can do a video on how to get prepared for hanumanasana? It seems to be a great asana with wonderful benefits but my hamstrings are tight and I would like to know the best practice to get there step by step.

Also I can't wait for the online program to start. Will it be international ?

Many thanks again for everything you share with us and have a wonderful day!!

  • Are you still going to put up a slowed down version of your "yoga at home" video?

  • Being off on Mondays,I like to do a short hike close by to breathe in some natural silence.Today was a nice treat tho. I stumbled on a group of five hawks that flew off right away and decided to show off some sky yoga for me.It was great to just sit and watch for a while. Not sure yet what the message was but hopefully my inner yogi got just what was needed. ps..Tara Stiles rocks :))

  • The one thing I do to recharge is to make sure, I'm alone. I'll mostly just sit and think about absolutely nothing, but ultimately -- I need to have my own space. It's interesting because I'm an introvert and I was reading a book called Introvert power, and she explains that extroverts recharge while being with people -- like they NEED people to be around in order to recharge. Introverts on the other hand -- need to look inwards, need their space, which is what I do...so yea. :)

  • Starting off with 5 mins of meditation, 30 min of exercise, sleep an extra 1 hr. Then watch TV for a couple hrs to silence the mind because unless you have a better way

  • Tara, I dig you and your videos, but Mondays are major bummers for me, so what I do to recharge my mind and soul: I plug in my Fender Telecaster into my Marshall amp and turn it way up, and do some jams and pretend for a few moments that I am the rock star I was meant to be... then i put on my suit and report to my cubicle.

  • @qman1058 Keep doing your jams! I totally believe you will be a rock star someday. :) Good luck to you!

  • Where are those big sexy feet of yours?

  • Yes please on knitting video! :)

  • Tara, what yoga book(s) would you recommend to discover more about yoga? other than yours which i already have! haha thanks :)

  • @lovezeelovely autobiography of a yogi. great book.

  • @TaraStilesYoga Amen... I read the book of Yogananda 10 years ago and it still haunts me (in a positive way)... seems like all the people I really connect with also have read it :)

A good way for me to recharge is to listen to the rain for 20 min or so... when it's not physically raining I listen to a rain-video on youtube... It's works like auto-meditation for me, washing away all the excess thoughts

  • To unwind...I sleep a little bit longer, I do yoga and spending time with my dog is quite therapeutic :)

  • online training? can't wait! To recharge, I do your videos, mediate for 10 minutes, and am starting roller derby and boxing classes this week. I have 2 children and run a business, I pay the price if I don't recharge

  • I need to adopt your Monday routine. :)

  • your jazz hands in your intros always remind me of my sister

  • ty!

  • Could you do a video that targets: hips, lower back and knees? Random assortment, I know, but it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Tara! (:

  • I like to spend time in nature on a daily basis (hard to do at this time of year when it's winter out--live in Canada). Even so, in the winter, I try to get outside even for just a little bit for some fresh air. And of course, daily yoga helps me to feel really good first thing in the morning and then again after a busy work day!! Thanks for all the great videos that you provide for us to use!!

  • Please help!! 38/M that weight trains and wants to add yoga and meditation. Where do I go for beginners and learning about and how to meditate online or DVDs?? Thank you for your time. :)

  • Hurry up with the ONLINE training Tara!!!!! i am coming to Strala for the 200 hour training tooooo!!! yay!!!! xxx

  • Hey, it's Monday here in Texas too!

  • For nearly two decades I have adopted a lifestyle of never allowing myself to become run down...means keeping a very self-disciplined lifestyle of healthy personal care utilizing many different aspects of nutrition, exercise, skincare. BUT the greatest thing that happened to me in 2011 was your bedtime yoga videos- applying your instruction literally changed my life- joints tight from childhood are open now; at the point in the process that ligaments are lengthening, muscle is greatly toning!!!

  • @srireland8 which video exactly or is it all bedtime yoga videos where the life-joints tight from childhood opened?

  • I love spending a day just reading inspirational books and watching inspirational movies like The Help :) The book and movie version are both amazing.

  • @Chokopoky thx! i didnt know about this movie and i've just finished it after reading your comment ^_^

  • I need a Jump Start!

  • I try to spend more time in nature, I am lucky enough to live in a part of Australia where I'm not too far away from some lovely bush land, the ocean and incredible rainforests! But when I lived in busy syndey I would walk in parks and actually look around at the trees and the grass and flowers etc!

PS I'm a new fan of yours and I am really appreciating the new yoga routines in my life! Thanks!

  • Practicing yoga everyday is the key to everybody's sanity and living a happy healthy life! You inspire me to practice everyday Tara : )

  • I was going through a busy and stressful time with 10 hour days in child care and half hour lunch breaks, trying to finish my study part time. I was a 23 year old who felt 20 years older. Since I found your yoga videos I've been able to deal with all of this so much easier and my body doesn't hurt anymore. Bonus is I can concentrate on eating healthy and fitting some exercise in. So yes, yoga was the missing link for getting the day going on a positive note. :) Thanks for sharing!

  • I tidy up my place first, then some yoga and meditation, write down goals and a to-do list, eat healthy, go for a walk and a run, and that does it for me.

Wish I was in New York so I could go to Strala. Maybe I'll go for a week just to do some yoga with you guys. How's that sound? Or let us know when you're coming to London.

  • lovely beanie!

  • I recharge with your yoga videos, and they also inspire me :)

    Thank you!
