Those are some good points, I just wanted to add a little. There are different reasons that Christians choose to live the way they do (in relation to TV, music, job). If you believe you are caused somehow to sin more, because you listen to non-christian music or watch a certain tv program you should cut off that which hinders you. But in most cases listening to mainstream music isn't a detriment

Atheism is a faith though. You put your faith in that their is no God or anything to do with him. Christianity is a faith in that their is a God and everything that goes with it. Those are some good points, I just wanted to add a little. There are different reasons that Christians choose to live the way they do (in relation to TV, music, job). If you believe you are caused somehow to sin more, because you listen to non-christian music or watch a certain tv program you should cut off that which hinders you. But in most cases listening to mainstream music isn't a detriment

Any one who says they are without sin is a liar. It says that in 1 John 1:8. God said to praise him with all of the instruments. If someone makes music for God and glorifies him its a good thing. But you cant mix the scared with the profane. The pretext in 1 John says to confess your sins daily. Some times we need to watch stuff to expose the works of the enemy but no for pleasure. The bible isn't for sexual promiscuouty, rape, pedophilia, adultery, and fornication. The bible never condemns gay people or loving monogamous homosexual relationships that involve romance, companionship, and sex.

Christian scholars have kept that teaching, mainly because Jesus never negated it. All the other laws you refer to belong to the Jews. We Christians follow the New Testament. If you had actually taken the time to READ the Bible, that would stand out pretty clear.
So those of you who have issues with the rules pertaining to shellfish and Canaan, take it up with the Egyptians and Jews.

Actually it's originally translated "A man shall not lie with a man the lyings of woman, for it is ritually unclean(to'evah)" You might want to brush up on your ancient Hebrew, instead of relying on other people to give you false interpretation and translations. The Whole Mosaic was for the Israelites, and only for them during that time. When Jesus shed his blood, we were under a new covenant of Grace. If you judge someone by the Mosaic Law, God will judge you by it as well.

well, with all respect the term gay Christian is oxy moronic. there are several passages in the bible that speak of homosexuality being a grave sin... and that those who do it are directly confronting/abusing the will of God.
