  • ROLLKUR IS ILLEGAL!!!!! Fuck Anky....makes me soooo mad.

  • 2:42 - 2:58... do that horse really want to do HYPERFLEXION?

  • @ponytriggerlove I dont think so. You can see that the horse doesn't like it .. And she says she dont have a clue for how long she is hyperflextion .. It could be for 15 minutes. poor horses.

  • @NinaTheiil Iknow, i hope you didnt take me sarcastically :P I ment what you did ;)

  • Rolkur doesn't work muscles, it just stretches the nuchal ligament, which then causes the bone on the skull to grow more to support the nuchal ligament that is under stress. Also, advanced dressage horses are well trained at being obiedient, if a rider cranks their nose to their chest, they would tolerate it because they are obiedient and have a severe bit in their mouth. They do Rolkur to avoid the pain. I disagree with Anky.

  • @jumper649 So true! She shouldt do it that way! And especially since she ride/rode on that level she does...

  • Isn't having spurs like, really bad?

  • I just can hope for all the poor horses which have to do hyperflexion, that one day all this will finally stop...

  • i really want to pull her chin to her chest yank her jaw from side to side and jump on her back and make her trot around and run thats why her names Anky cos she likes to yank yank yanky the horses mouth

  • I hate when people say that a horse is big and they don't do what they don't want todo. Horses are prey animals we are predators and in such abuse works really well on them as they will give in! Give in not only to intimidation but pain. Abuse is abuse no excuse, stop trying t disguise it Anky!

  • @2.42 Well I'd like to see you try fight the rollkur with a bradoon in your mouth and a chain across your chin! ANY horse is very quickly going to the path of least resistance when it comes to their mouths!

  • She makes me want to tear my eyes out. People like this will never learn, because she'll win all the money and ribbons, by doing what she does. Its so flawed.

  • Top punisher would be the right word, wouldn't it?

  • ya, two minutes, she does it constantly!!

  • "I am a top sporter" Ya right!

  • So i'm knew to the English type horses. I have been doing Paso Finos for my whole life. While we did own race horses I hardly every worked around them. I don't know much about English type ridding, except you have to post when you're trotting, what is hyperfelxion? Is it bad for a horse? Many people seem to think so, but what about the scientific proof? Is this only for dressage horses or do they do this for all disciplines?

  • Sorry, if she sees it like she describes it, I have to ascribe her not the slightest knowledge about horses and their bodies, but only how to ride the lessons which are needed to win, nothing more...how sad, somebody like this is an idol for other riders in the world. And the saddest thing is that the judges don't do anything against this animal torture, even let those people win!! Crazy world for poor horses...

  • I like her point about variation in a horse's training, however i don't agree with her method of hyperflexion training. so many people are getting worked up on this video and we should just live by the fact that everybody has different opinions, and they're going to do whatever they want, so we should just focus on us and what we believe rather than make a fuss about what others believe.

  • @HobbyHorsey ummm yes I REALY did just say that, did you not read the comment? NO! It isn't your eyes playing tricks on you!! and yes as I stated in my comment I do use hyperflexion, and CLEARLY you did NOT read the entire comment. If you do it correctly and with the horse, all you are doing is making them more supple and less likely to get hurt. You are increasing their flexibility. Have you head about the horses that the trainers have ruined a 2 year olds doing this?

  • @bohannon156 clearly a person can not prove a point to someone who is set in their ways and will not see it any other way because people like you think you are right 100% of the time and you wouldn't even know what in the world this was about unless they put Anky in the spotlight like they did. you want to see real abuse? go to a couple of AQHA shows and watch the 2y/o western pleasure horses go around out in the warm up pen............ enough said

  • @HobbyHorsey obviously you know nothing about the sport and you did NOT listen to her. You do NOT do this with young horses. You're not yanking their head back to their chest you are asking them to flex. The more supple you get a horses body the less likely they are to be hurt. Yes there are right and wrong ways. Maybe you should get some experience with bring horses up through the ranks before you say lets put a bit in her mouth. You work with how the horse responds.

  • Ordure! En plus t'a la main intérieure dans la cuisse. Amateuur! :@

  • hot anky,love her

  • Abused horses don't win Olympic Gold in Dressage.

  • @jthomas6694 Your right, horses with blue tongues win Gold medals, but your right. That's not abuse.

  • How many Olympic Gold medals do you you people have?

  • @jthomas6694

none at all, but if THATS what it takes to win a gold medal, then i dont even want one.

  • If only she had a slight clue on equine biomechanic then she'd realize that hyperflexion actually weakens rather than strengthen. What a ridiculous, greedy DQ.

  • shes a fucking lunatic cow faces ugly boot. I especially enjoy the bit where she says the horses never fight and the horse is battling it out with her! and also 'as you can see the horses ears are forwards'... eh no... they are back.. what an arse. Rollkur technique should not be allowed at any level of competition its ugly!!!

  • she doesnt give a dame about the horse - its only used as a tool

  • I dont ride in rolkur because Im not educated enough as a rider and there is no way my horse would be ready for something like that... I would say though I understand stretching out through the back and the neck muscles just like when we do the splits and push ourselves down. I dont agree with riding in a dressage test in rolkur I dont think that it is working your horse correctly. I think it is a good stretch for a Grand pix horse. Like she said she doesnt train every rider or horse like that.

  • Fantastic...Listen to the key words. This method is an suppling exercice for the top Grand Prix Horse, keeping it fit and supple and strong. This method is ridden in conjunction with variation of the horses frame . The horse tells the rider when it has had enough, never a fight, the horse is being asked very nicely with supple kind hands. It is happening free, flowing and forward.

The horse is giving 110%,with no stress involved. Anky you are the best, your horses are beautiful .

  • @caloase THANK YOU!

Finally someone who knows what they're looking at :)

Anky's the best in the world for a reason - she's a great rider and trainer

  • @HobbyHorsey yeah, i guess you're right ^^ at least i dont ride with rollkur or anything. i just want to ride for fun, and be great friends with the horse!

  • @HobbyHorsey i am!! and i am dutch T_T SHE'S A SHAME TO ALL DUTCH RIDERS, LIKE ME

  • This is probably the most unanimous youtube agreement in dressage training I've ever seen for terrible terrible training. It's not justified through what she says. I don't know how she's made it this far.

  • Comment removed

  • what aload of bs!

  • So what about the suffering of the horses? It is so easy, when the horse does not talk back.

  • Anky is the most unproffesional and unfair rider I have ever witnessed in my life and in many others. x(

  • What A Shame, She Lives In The Same Country As I Do... I'm gonna move out, or dump her something she dies slowly ;O

  • This horse is behind the VERTICAL!! so much for Rollkuring, training is the solution without Rollkuring. I can get a head set vertical using my little finger jiggling the outside rein. How dumb is this woman. It's publicity and nothing else. Why would anyone want to emulate this lady??? BAD, BAD, BAD for the horse, she puts herself first and not the horse. What nonsense....

  • how dumb can you be going public with this? doing it in her indoor riding area is dumb. but going public and telling everybody and demonstrating? thaths really really dumb!!

  • you are a stiupid dressage rider

  • "when the horses head is high when your riding it, its unhealty" wtf?! rollkur is unhealthy for the horse, think before you speak lady

  • I think she is AWESOME!!!!

I dont judge her methods at all as her horses hyperflex & then also stretch out, they do not seem at all uncomfortable. Seem like happy well loved horses

  • personally i'd be honored to interview anky. she's developed a very effective training system to bring horses from four y/o to grand prix, and her reputation stands for it. as she said, its a system, hyperflexion happens over years and years of strengthening and stretching. if i were a horse id much rather be ridden by her than by some noob who lets their horses go around inverted all the time.

  • @horsegirlanna You need to watch "If Horses Could Speak". Hyperflexion is damaging to a horse and your comment clearly shows your ignorance of a horses true anatomy and proper training methods.

  • @hmaschaus Hyperflexion can be damaging over the long term, but so is any type of sport that pushes one's body to the extreme, just look at top gymnasts. It's the price you pay for performing at this level. Just remember that these aren't poky QH crosses out of the field, they incredibly athletic, supple warmbloods bred to do the job that have been developing strength and flexibility for years. its totally different from taking an average horse out of the field and pulling its chin to its chest.

  • @horsegirlanna Rollkur is a bit like doing ballet with your chin superglued to your chest.

  • I do not think this method is wrong or bad in a professionals hands. like she said this is for top level horses only. they are extremely fit. athletes must train all their muscles. a ballerina can do the splits and it doesnt hurt cause she has stretched and trained her body to do it. she would have to over or hyper flex to feel the stretch. same here. this horse isnt acting abused or hurt in any way. people who dont understand are putting human emotions on the animals.

  • this is disgraceful... i dont know how its still allowed

  • If she could do Rollkur with a snaffle and her horse's ears forward, then I'd believe what she said.

  • the bit where she says 'the horse's ears are still forwards..' what? Her horse's ears are facing back!

  • i love her and her methods!!!

  • shame i come from the netherlands. se just can't ride.

  • @Feitlinglover

Actually thats not true. I disagree with this method because i view it as cruel and inhumane. However Anky is one of the best dressage riders in the world. She is known as the "Queen of the Kur" as she performs phenominal Freestyle dressage.

  • Need to black ball watching anything she is on.

  • ANKY, ANKY, ANKY, WE LOVE YOU <3

  • I believe novice does much more harm to horses than Anky. No one can force a horse to perform harmony. You have to be a horse lover first before asking a horse to do a thing for you. ANKY IS A HORSE LOVER.

  • @allthewaythrough You do NOT have to be a horse lover to ask a horse to do something. There is a huge difference between loving horses and loving riding....

  • She says a very important point - athlete trains all muscles. This is just one of many training methods and the method does NOT hurt her horses. I totally agree with the variation. When someone success, people tend to be jealous and attack her. NO GOOD. She is still my top idol in equestrian.

  • People.. what do you think professional gymnasts do before serious workouts? They STRETCH , and they often stretch into abnormal positions, not TOO long, just enough to loosen them. Also there is a difference between Rollkur and LDR. I do not say a lot of people misuse LDR ; but in this case it becomes rollkur, and shouldnt be called LDR anymore. LDR is like what we do before a pilates class: 10 minutes of stretching back, neck and legs.

  • TIME FLYS WHEN YOURE HAVING FUN!!!!

  • ...... if you watch the rest of her videos like in the 2006 freestyle or something when the rein is given her horse stretches right down and this is proving that the horse has not been so over worked in that position that it is locked there and cannot work in any other outline because clearly it can... my horse was trained like this and i dont agree with it, she had torn ligaments in her neck and behind her ears and she couldn't stretch out even in the field but not all horses end like this!!

  • @stephanielauren2011 thank you for this comment. That is because, rollkur and LDR (Low Deep and Round) is not the same thing. Only experienced riders should work with the LDR technique, because only experienced riders can: other riders won't know how to ride it correctly and will turn LDR into ROLLKUR. sadly people nowadays like to scream Rollkur at every shot they get.

  • will everyone stop saying she doesnt know how a horse feels when she uses it she did state that she does not use it on young horses becasue well they are young, and as the horse gets older it gets stronger.... she is very true teaching any horse to work in an outline is about building up muscle in the right areas and although this is a forced outline over time the muscles are built up there making it a little easier...........

  • Undoubtedly hyperflexion can harm a horse's body, but we can't judge Anky's methods, she certainly knows a lot about it. Also ,as she said, her horses are very expierenced and well-trained... I don't think she has bad intention and... i don't think that her horses can be really harmed. After all nobody says that dressage is easy or horses enjoy it!

  • @Elpida39 We had an osteopath come in today to do a demonstration (on a degree course), and one of the most common injuries she has to treat is tension at the poll due to dressage, via draw reins and rollkur. I think after 5 years of training to have anatomical medical knowledge of a horse superior to a vet she knows what she's talking about ;)

  • "i dont have a clue what im doing... this just gets me high scores. I dont care how long i'm torturing my horses"-Anky

  • Please shut up!

Money is the one thing that counts for you, Anky.

Stop talking about grand prix horses and their special training methods

    especially about hyperflexion!

This is not the art of riding, full stop.

  • With the first horse, you can see the tension in his back via the position in his tail. There is such a thing as over stretching a muscle, and that's exactly what she's doing to the horse's longimus dorsi muscle. He's shaking his head and his mouth is open and pinched in discomfort.

  • Weinigen is het gegeven zo respectvol te reageren op onwetendheid,

met geduld en liefde uitleg geven...

Anky van Grunsven is een vrouw van grote klasse waar je U tegen zegt.

  • "it would never be a fight" 2:50 yeah the horse ist doing this just for enjoyment or what?!

  • ze is gewoon te zielig voor woorden ,, Leugenaar dat ze is!

  • maybe you should train your brainmuscles first, before you start training the muscles of your horse!

  • @xoxFranziixox brainmuscles? hers? iiiii dont think so!

  • HOLY BITCH!

  • Wait she says she would never fight a horse into hyperflexion but 2:43-2:46 that is what she is doing...

  • itdoesnt matter how long you hypeflex it CAUSES ALOT OF DAMAGE TO THE HORSE WHETHER IT BE FOR TWENTY OR TWO MINUTES and the horse using rollkur is in such a position it cant fight back.

  • ''i want to ride my horse and ride him from how he tells me'' ... whats he telling you at 2.55 ..... to let him stretch his bloody neck!!

  • she talks complete shite, CRUELTY TO ANIMALS.

  • i hate this woman she is like stupid. no offence but it does bad things to a horse and its unnatrual. it ruins the annatomy!

  • I'm lost for words! She is the most awful person!

I mean.. She admits that she is using hyperflexion, almost like she is proud of it! If i was so be confronted about my training methods, specially if i was using hyperflexion, i would lower my head in shame!

It's embarrassing! It's embarrassing that something like this is to be found in equestrianism.

That something so beautiful can be transformed into something so.. Disgusting.

All i can say is... This is so disappointing.

  • @HelloThereYou1010 I totally agree! U took the word right out of my mouth!!!

  • She admits that SHE USES ROLLKUR! For those who still don't believe it!

  • Only reason I keep coming back to this video is because I like her accent and the way she speaks...Rollkur disgusts me.

  • dear anky, dear so-called "professional riders" that train his/her horse in LDR/Rollkur. Please please please learn to ride and how to tread an living animal wright! -.-'

just sit on and pull - that's not riding! thank you for making our sport so "perverse", that I'm ashamed for it. thanks a lot.

  • I feel sorry for Anky. In my view, she has lost her way in any having any feeling and empathy for the sentient creatures she is training. I do not know why this is. I feel also extremely sad, and angry about the way the her horses are being treated. (I would NOT say they are being trained)

  • how long can she keep her chin tied to her chest

  • 2mins 54 secs says it all .............

  • @wh0reship it urts the horse no matter who does it or when it is done, anky is a silly cow lol watch videos on the affects of rollkur

  • Sie sagt es is ungesund wenn des pferd in der normalen Haltung, also durchs genick geht, aber wenn sie des pferd auf die brust zieht und dadurch der rücken total verspannt und die Halswirbelsäule überdehnt is is des gesund oder was???

Die is doch nich ganz sauber....

  • I used to love her until I saw what she was doing to her horses. Thank God Salinero never had to go through this, but I feel so bad for her new horse. It'd be rather off sitting in a paddock doing nothing !

"If the horse does not want to do something, it doesnt." Well the horse can't even get away from her hand, let alone disobey. She needs a good slap in the face to make her wake up to herself and realise what the heck she is doing to amazing animals.

  • She really talks shit.

I feel so sorry for her new horse. Poor animal.

  • F*CK her !! how would you feel if we pulled your head into your chest and held it there for not 3 minutes , (bullshit) but like your hole life !!!!!!! poor horses!!! , I wonder what those horses would bo if you'd ride em bareback with no bridle or reins , i think the horse would be so grateful that he died at the spot !

  • gosh. shes such a shittalker

  • I have seen horses trained and conditioned to enfure and tolerate all kinds of abuse. Ima trainer myself, not so hard to do. As a trainer, she knows this is a cop out. I noticed that her father does not publically support her method, in fact he seems to have gone into hiding (shame as I was hopin he would write a book on dressage.) If her own father dont support the method, why would I? HE was the REAL horseman.

  • anky, your horses look supple and well trained. Congrats on your success

  • im am against this method, but i think that you should flex your horse in different positions also in hyperflexion. its like when you would go to a for example dance class you do exersises that you have a very good posture as well as very bad posture. The bad posture would be the hyperflextion. Like if you are all the time in a bad posture its very bad for your back. i think you should flex your horse in different ways but dot do it too much!!!!

  • Do you honestly believe that Anky is the only professional Dressage rider in the world that uses this method, why do you think Edward Gal and Totilas won so much the answer is because he trained with Anky so probably used this method on Totilas so thats probably why hes so amazing, or was amazing when he was with Edward, it'll be interesting to find out if Toto's new rider uses the same and see if he wins so much with Toto.

  • @Equ3strianCallie Nope. You can leave that to me sweetheart. If I ever see her in real life I will ANNIHILATE her. But it would be more suiting if a horse did the honour, yes. :)

  • Can somebody please translate in German? =) I would help so much

  • Someone needs to knck her teeth down her throat...with a spade bit! Just for the fun of it! Stupid, abusive bitch.

  • @dubayhorizons Get real....

  • Those of you who comment poorly to this need to just go trail ride and go yee haw. There is nothing wrong with what she is doing. These horses are bred for this

  • Those of you who comment poorly to this need to just go trail run and go yee haw. There is nothing wrong with what she is doing. These horses are bred for this

  • @TJPerformance Why don't you actually go look up rolkur. Then you'll know exactly what it does.

  • @123missylove I dont need to.... I know what it is and all of you just need to quit bashing on other peoples methods... Shes winning isnt she???? Hmmmmm???

  • @TJPerformance Yeah, you're right. She may be winning but is the rolkur good for horses? No. I think you'll find it is isn't. You obviously have no clue if you think it's good for horses. Her horses are specifically bred for the rolkur. That's bull crap. You can breed horses for the rolkur. It puts a bad strain on their neck and stops the oxygen getting to their brains. There's no "Hmmmmm???" about it.

  • @123missylove Did I say it was good for horses??? noooo.... Is there an extreme? yes.... But if it is soooo bad then why is she winning??? Dont be jealous. It sounds like all of you are jealous of her winning otherwise it wouldnt even be a discussion..

  • @TJPerformance Why would I be jealous of her? Why would any of us be jealous of her. When she's using methods that are bad for her horses. Oh yeah. I am truly jealous. Not.

You don't know who these people are. I get that people who comment on here are all horseriders, myself included. Believe me, we aint jealous. You just sound like an huge worshipper of hers.

But I aint gonna start an arguement with a randomer. If you think it's okay to use the rolkur to win, thats your problem.

  • @123missylove I dont even know her. So NO I dont worship her. I just think you people are rude for even getting in the middle. So just this whole bashing of people on every stupid Epona site or youtube download is ridiculous. Leave freaking people alone.

  • @TJPerformance Why do you think youtube has comments? To let people have their opinions known. If I think something is not right, I'll let people know. Using the rolkur on horses is bad for them. If you ride horses, you should know but if you don't then you don't have a clue.

  • @TJPerformance Well it's not about the winning or not winning is it, for people here it's rather the way the elit treat the horses and there well-beeing, is anything ok if you get results. Your argument is that she is winning shut up... But that is not the issue.. She is winning at the cost of her horses physical and mental health.

  • @TheTaidi Ok... People can have opinions and comments, but telling someone to SHUT UP is just RUDE!!! So be on with yourself and go ride your unbroke horse ok....

  • @TJPerformance so if i use ilegal methods to increase my endurance, etc, that in enchange are perjudicial for my body (maybe in a few years) but i win, it doesnt matter??? it doest matter that i'm damaging my body??

if we dont use painful/ dangerous methods in our training why do someone to inflict that pain to another being?

  • @luthientassard Its called conditioning!!!!

  • Respond to this video...Its called CONDITIONING!!!

  • " i think the show frame is unhealthy" what the heck is she saying?

  • @MsSinduda

Err, you might want to consider taking in the context as well... As she mentions It's all about variation, keeping the horse in show frame at all time (during training obviously..) is just as 'unhealthy'(perhaps a poor choice of words) as keeping them in any other position.. It doesn't add to the training.. It's the variation that makes the muscles stronger..

  • Her horse's ears are not forward at the end. They are turned out to the side which shows that he is attentive to her. It doesn't mean he's happy.

  • agree with you copletely Equ3strianCallie!

I wonder how much time they get to stretch in a field.....if they do go to a field :/

  • hmmm not knowing how long you hyperflex your horse? thats great training right there......NOT

  • @eingallsstella do you actually TIME yourself...???? SERIOUSLY

  • @TJPerformance Stop being so immature.

  • @TJPerformance nope because i would never hyperflex a horse they know how to carry their heads and that is comfortable for them all you care about is money and "fame"

  • @TJPerformance no i do not sit there with a watch i am busy listening to my horse and observing the changes in the horse that is when i know when i have gone too far or too fast, or even too slow. By listening to a horse, i will never abuse it. Even someone without a watch on can give a rough estimate of time they have spent doing something, if they cant then they shouldnt be "training" horses.

  • okey now i hate her..

  • wow...well timed video clip right over her saying she doesn't fight the horse to get the hyperflexion when clearly that horse was struggling to accept!

  • "If the horse does not want to do something, it doesn't."

What does she think, what the horse rather could do? It is already fighting against her hand and she still says it has a choice?! What's going on in her head? I think she just ignores the fact that hyperflexion is painful for horses. She's just looking for success and puplicity. Someone should find a position that can be compared with the hyperflexion and punish her to do it and just don't ask for the time...

  • @ImmortalHappyness Yeah! I mean, someone could say to me "Hey, jump out that window. Or else I will kill you.". And sure, physically, I do have a choice. But mentally? I'm stuck. Can you tell me I have a choice in that situation? It's the same with horses. They have been so faithful and done whatever we asked them, we put saddles on their backs, put them in small, dark places, metal in their mouths and heavy shoes on their feet. And they've agreed. Why should they start the fight now?

  • @IDontCare704 That's exactly what I meant! Horses bear our weight and do just what we want, even if there are mistakes, they stay faithful and friendly - and what's the reward for this? Someone like Anky comes around and forces the poor, helpless horse in such aching positions! And as it wouldn't be enough, she says it's alright for the horse or just don't answers questions reporters ask her...

  • @ImmortalHappyness God, this used to be about helping the horse to a better working position, to balance the horse by engaging the hind legs, and the effect of doing so was that the horse worked more with its back, and the effect of THAT was that the neck was lengthened and THE EFFECT OF THAT is that the head gets in a more vertical position! That's just the byproduct! Now we're so obssessed with the heads placement, we don't even care if it's damaging! It used to be the other way around.

  • I just lost all respect for this rider.

  • ohh my god.. It's just too painful to watch..it really is..I am very sorry, but it is not nice at all..if horse is training machine or something for her,then..god..ohh my...What these talented horses did to deserve something like this.. I am very sorry but it is too cruel..I can't imagine how I could even give my horse a pat and be in good terms with her/him when I know that I have hurt her/him and I know that if my horse could speak.. she/he would probably cry and scream..no trust..just pain!

  • Her point makes no sense at the end video. If you fight with a horse long enough and "punish" them enough, they will eventually do things they don't want to do lol. SHe is using a trained horse who has probably been doing that for a very long time

  • "Time flies when you're having fun"...Well, maybe YOU have fun, but your horses don't....I would never ever like to be a horse under you...

  • You guys are so misunderstanding Anky! You emphasise the wrong parts of her answers / readings what makes you jump to the wrong conclusions. I totally understand that some vids will look wrong too you, but in this video she explains her intentions (variation is very important to keep every muscle trained and well-formed).

Don't underestimate Anky's experience here, please look further than only this vid, and THAN get to your conclusions. Yes I am Dutch, and yes I admire Anky van Grunsven.

  • Sorry but what on earth is she talking about at the end ...to me those ears are in no way forwards....Rollkur is a cruel and unnecessary method

  • "But you can also see, that it's ears are still forward and as all other horse people know, that if a horse doesn't want to do something, it doesn't do it." Yeah right if you beat and torture the horse into submission, it won't protest will it? You're a $*£*)^% Anky and you don't deserve to be called a 'horsewoman'

  • 2:47 i may be wrong, but the horse really doesnt look like he wants to be in that postition. He lifts up his head and trys to avoid it but she just pulls him back into that postition and continues riding. His ears are back as well, which i always thought meant that the were in pain/angry or something like that. :(

  • stupid girl !

  • Omg :O

  • Now everybody, bend your head forward until your chin is on your neck/chest. Now hold it for 3 min.

Perhaps this is how the horses feel..

  • @donkeyloverforever hahaha you are so stupid. Totally wrong comparison. Horses are trained to bow their heads. Besides their muscles are in a totally different position than ours. OK if you want to know how a horse experiences this position, you should. BUT: not 3 minutes already, just the first time u try it. Besides you should train, I guess, to get to comparing. Hahahah let me know how u did lol

  • If u wanna know why I liken Anky to a beast of the feld watch this video called Patterns in the Grass on youtube and you will see even Loin's are more kind then this beast.

  • "sorry not the throax correction the trachea (windpipe) of horse so there the word is out Anky

  • I will tell you the sercet of Rollkur, trainers use this to restrict oxygen to the brain of the horse the horses throax closes up. With less oxygen to the brain the horse then becomes calm and lightheaded and slows down because of to much carbon monoxide in the blood then the horse learns to be submissive to the rider's every comand because of fear of suffcation. Just like when a lion attacks a zebra it will go for the throax and then the drop down so liken these people to beasts of the feld.

  • [ the subtitles are very annoying

just place them on the bottom of the video! not in the middle! ]

ok i`m AGAINST rollkur and all the shit around it

but JUST LISTEN TO HER EXPLANATION

and how would you react if these kind of questions to you about your training method.... i would be defensive to

  • I do not think riding in a hyperflexed position / rollkur is a good training method. But she does make a very important statement that every rider should follow, and it is the VARIATION. Because even if the horse's position is the very best, it will get damaged if you stay that way for too long. Horses aren´t built to have riders on them at all! Therefore she is right about the variation part. However, hyperflexion is probably not the solution...

  • I LOVE ANKY!!! Stop getting mad because her methods aren't traditional. Her methods work. Her horses aren't in pain and they perform very well. I fail to see the problem

  • It is outragous that she claims not to know how long she keeps the horse in that position. ''She does not look at the clock, time flies.''..haha..silly cow!! Of course a professional rider knows every little move and step.

  • 1:55 hes trying to get away from the bit :(

  • all in all, horses don't want to be ridden or be in effort demanding positions(passage, piaffe, etc) at all(if they would have the choice)in anky's method, classical method or any other method,SHE IS TALKING ABOUT SPORTS

you can all let your horses run free in the field if you want and that would not be wrong, but if you want to do sports than this is the case here

  • @Emmafurie My horse loves doing piaffe and passage. If we are trotting she will sometimes passage because she can. I don't ask her to do it. Its not fair to say EVERY horse doesn't like being worked because the majority do!

  • oh look his ears are still forward!! lets put a leverage bit in her mouth and see if she will not do something if she doesn't want to!

  • anky you should read the book riding logic written by Wilhem Museler if you can find it.He never talks of this technique, maybe because it is not how you shoud work any horse. maybe she should try running around with her chin on her chest, maybe she'll soon figure out how uncomfortable it must be for the horse

  • stupid fucking bitch, if she really loved horses and her own horses, she can tell she is putting it in pain! i hope a horses kicks her in the face!

  • i hate her!!!she´s verry stupid!!her poor horses...

  • "the horse wouldn't do anything he don't want to"

take a look at the mouth, doesn't he don't want to?

Wonder what is wrong with that person ....

  • Shut up, Anky!

  • Well... I'm very glad to know that FEI does not permit excessive or prolonged Hyperflexion in any equestrian sport.. But onfortunatly we can't control what she does at home :/

  • "... it depens on how strong is the horse" ?

  • Wie sie bei 2:01 mit den Beinen rumwackelt... da sieht man wie "toll" die reiten kann!:(
