I know how big bird feels, I hate Getting Iv's when I had to get surgeries at. Children's both my mom and I have what they called disappearing vains so it's hard to get a good vain so yeah you can guess the rest ( not fun)

@NZkorza the only time i have ever been in the hospital was when i was 2 and my tonsils were affecting my breathing bad. and I am 14, never sprained, or broke anything, although i did twist my ankle sometimes

@momijifugimia I don't like IV's either, especially when I get one in my hand... Near my nuckles while in an ambulance (I have asthma, & require an occasional trip to the hospital now & then). I'd beg the medics not to insert the IV in my hand, but they do it anyway.

@tearose00 First of all, Big Bird is only six. I recall my hospital stay when I was that age. I was scared out of my mind. Aside from when I was born, I'd never stayed overnight in the hospital before. Also, young children tend to be afraid of needles. Having blood drawn or an IV put in can seem scary when you've never had something like that done before. It's perfectly okay to cry when you're scared.

@DrummerBoy922 I couldn't agree with you more. When I was little, I would cry my eyes out every time I got a shot. They scared me out of my wits. I didn't think anything of it, even though the rest of my immediate family took it well. We all cry when we're scared sometimes, no matter how young or old we are. Big Bird had nothing to be ashamed of.

@DrummerBoy922 I know that feeling all too well. One time when I was 6, I was sick and went to the doctor. They had to take blood. They had to do it 7 times because it kept clotting. They even did it in my finger one time. Also, when I was 8, I had to have several surgeries/IVs as well as a blood test in the hospital.

good grief to see bird in pain reminds me when i was young i had to have my spleen taken out cause it ruptured

the first day at the hospital i was cranky and didnt want to see anyone
