Contest #2 part one

This is what I recently found in my researches about shaving. It is from the book "Shaving made easy " which had been written in 1905. There's an article referring about "the myth" of softening the beard before the shave. It says following: "The soap is used,

not to soften the beard, but to produce

exactly the opposite effect—namely, tc

make the hair stiff and brittle, so that

they will present a firm and resisting

surface to the razor."(page 51).

this tip is for shavers with acne or younger shavers. u can use ur proactive or other three step acne treatment in your shaving routine

step 1 use the facial scrub while you prep your skin. once finished begin ur shaving routine

step 2 after u shave and rinse off ur face use the toner as a pre-aftershave or as a substitute for it and rub it into your skin

step 3 after its rubbed in finish the job with the repairing lotion

u will notice the difference in your skin!

Hi, Mantic.

I'm writing for contest #2.

Thanks to your videos I have rediscovered shaving and improved my shaves. I've been using these extra-super three bladed razors for 10 years now, but the DE safety razor has changed my life.

So, I guess I'm already a winner, because I am always looking forward to the next shave, and they have become enjoyable (even with a Wilkinson classic).

DE shaving feels more manly, also.

(Contest #2) Since I have started traditional shaving I felt like I have almost been transported to the past. I have found that traditional shaving provides a smoother and cleaner shave. Traditional shaving is more of a hobby for me, as opposed to being a chore or task. All the gentleman in my family use traditional shaving, and I feel it only right to follow the tradition. I believe that any man, no matter his age or what have you, can benefit from this more refined method of shaving.

well thats funny, i am using a Progress as my only safety razor. I discovered your graet Videos last summer. Since then my shaves got much more gentle and comfortable. Keep on going!

5k subscribers! Congratulations! I think you've earned it. I don't know how I stumbled upon your channel, but I think it somehow changed my life. After 19 years of bad shaving experience, I learned how to do it properly. And I have a lot more fun shaving today. First thing I did was buying proper shaving cream and a proper brush, then I bought a vintage Gillette adjustable. Best shave of my life.

Funny thing is, that I plan on buying a Progress, just to compare. So you can count me in!
