The funniest thing with Tanya is that in a skirmish, when a team of Tanya is commanded to destroy an enemy structure, each of them will plant a bomb in turn. So if you have 20 Tanya in a team, then the structure will have 20 bombs planted inside before they are detonated.

Yeah, the first Red Alert game is the only one whose characters are really believable. The following games were less realistic and more movie like. The gameplay is fun on all Red Alert games, but the characters are definitely going downhill. Also, I never thought I'd ever complain about too much sex appeal in a game, but I can now. Tanya, Natasha, Dasha, Suki, Zhana, Eva..... I don't believe ANY of these girls would be in a real life military. The first Tanya.... well she would be.

Besides, how could they possibly make it worse? Dolphins are nothing compared to giant squids. Tanya in RA3 isn't nearly as sexualized as in RA2. RA2 barely recognized people other than Americans as actual humans, treating them as cowardly stereotypes or demonic monsters. So, if anything, EA saved Red Alert, and the whole CNC franchise for that matter.

Oh, thank you for proving my point. Tiberium Sun was the worst game of the CNC series, hands down. Its graphics sucked, the campaign was poorly coded, and the plot meandered. But my point remains; CNC only got good when they ditched Westwood entirely. By your own logic, Westwood was what was keeping CNC back, regardless of weather EA controlled it or not.

Sorry but Tiberian Sun (not tiberium Sun) was the best game after the first 2 games. It had awesome atmoshpere, story, soundtrack, units. Unfortunately Starcraft was way better in the terms of gameplay. But neither of EA's C&C had atmosphere C&C 3 and 4 were bullshit except graphics they had tons of mistakes in story, atmosphere. In TS Nod was awesome

See, Tiberium Sun wasn't the best of the series, it was simply the ones that modern fans were kids at when it was released, and thus judge it with nostalgic wankery instead of on it's own terms.

In any of the CNC settings, NOD is stupid and nonsensical. It's probably the worst RTS faction of any mainstream universe.

Graphics were not that bad! also its dark environment was not for casual gamers. C&C 3 and 4 had not even half of them. Stupid cinematics, poor acting. In TS Cinematic Nod looks a huge, strong, technogical army however in C&C 3 and 4 they look like small terrorist group and have stupid style in cutscenes which does not match their units in gameplay. Nod was awesome.

Dark environments were and are overdone. The real world is colorful and bright, that's realistic. Having a dark game is a cheap and crappy way for an artist to say "Look, muh game is teh deep!!1" without writing any sort of good backstory (which Tiberium Sun did not.)

That's exactly what's wrong with NOD. They're an evil cult, but Tiberium Sun tried to make them into some sort of cyborg army, which is stupid and nonsensical. At least CNC3 salvaged NOD as best it could.
