  • The CAN interfaces are logic level and need a transceiver to connect to a bus.

The Ethernet interface needs magnetics (the PHY is on the module).

    Accent...? :-)

  • @ 1:26, what do u add to get the CAN controller (sounded like magnetics, couldn't get over the accent).

  • The kits are almost always in stock in our web store if any of the distributors are sold out. Native code is possible with the Micro Framework, but you need the Porting Kit and our Board Support Package. Use the contact form on our web site and I will get you more information about that.

  • I haven't been able to find the dev kit in stock in the US for some time. Any idea when it will be available again? Also, can we mix native and managed code in your .NET Framework 4.1 version?

  • The dev kit + an LCD is the best starting point. It comes with Windows CE installed, and you can download the Linux port from our 3rd party provider. There is a USB-based update app which enables switching between OSs. Use the contact page on the Device Solutions web site if you have any more questions.

  • so let me get this strait, ican buy the Topaz CPU Module, along with the strarter module and a LCD Touch screen, How would i install linux, microsoft windows ce or .NET Micro framework, and the a housing could be made, to use as either
