Hi jazzwing, I love bracket racing, well that's what we call it here. Gave it a try in my younger days. Found out I was not very good at it. On my first run I melted a ring. Yep, melted a ring. When I torn the engine down I found one piston ring had a 1/8 of an inch of the ring melted. No kidding. The melted part was still sitting in the ring groove. A little ball of melted ring.
