  • Hmm... killing people or feeding people. I wonder where our priorities should be.

  • How about eliminating the people that want to kill us so we can eat in peace in our Hgh Rises without worrying about a plane crashing into them!!!

  • Heritage Foundation: Political hacks angry that they never got laid in college memorizing talking points in the hopes they'll get a pat on the head from Karl Rove someday.

  • While refusing to fund for it... hmm....

  • FROM WIKIPEDIA

Heritage has received a long and steady flow of support from nearly 100 major corporations, including Chase Manhattan Bank, Dow Chemical Company, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Mobil, Procter & Gamble, and GlaxoSmithKline[3]

Get out of my mindspace, you crazy non-think-tank.

  • Yes, Wikipedia has all of the answers... Could you please cite a source that has at least an ounce of credibility??? Thanks.

  • Absolutely agreed that the Republican majority did it too. And it was wrong then too. The abuse of earmarks has been going on for a long time, and it's got to end. This isn't a Republican or Democrat thing - both parties have let this problem grow. (I looked up some of Mr. Riedl's work at Heritage, and he has, in fact, been lambasting Congress for years on this, including the Republican controlled Congress.)

  • Hey, you got to feed the troops too, and don't forget that the Republican majority earmarked $70 billion in pork in 2005 alone.

  • You're just sore because since the Dems got the majority, there's no more pork for you. Until now, you didn't give a flea's fart about the troops.

  • Hey, you guys didn't give a hoot about body armour for four years, so why the phony outrage today, eh?

  • Hey, ya got to feed them troops too!

  • Nonsense! You really don't get it at all!

  • Welcome to the world of D.C. politics. From an individual state's perspective it makes sense, dollars to be exact. I suggest we create a new department within the U.S. called USCS, U.S. Department of Common Sense. Perhaps they could help minimize the social welfare costs of pork and logrolling. There's little that could be done, but thanks for the informative vid.
