You need to ditch the baking soda. It degrades into NaOH anyway eventually. But the carbon will coat your plates and keep the catalytic layer from forming through conditioning which optimizes your production and greatly improves the quality of the HHO or Hydroxy gas. See Patrick Kelly's Chapter 10 pdf.

This is grate Pete, I would like to see the output higher. In my test I was kicking about 80V and to a simple 3 plate cell and useing rain water. (just as good as distiled and free)No electrolyte.I will be posting some results when I get back in the lab.I will be trying to kick it up to as much as 1Kv@2Khz hopeing it will not go to plasma.Good work and keep posting so we all can learn.

I hope you are not planning on keeping your crimped copper wire connection so close to the reaction.
Copper will corode and eventually you will get a spark and one heck of a startle LOL.
Also you may want to consider seling the unit so you get less current leakage and higher production.
Zero Fossil Fuel explains this in his and demonstartes it as well.

The output seems too small. Try this : Array of 6 , 1/16" apart, Perform dry isolation test with multi-meter, configure +-+-+-. 12-14VDC 17-20A.
It should perform like a scalded monkey!

inductors on pos and neg. about 100 turns 22 swg magnet wire around a ferrite core. no elyte is needed once the plates are conditioned.
