  • Whoa hold on there 12dfx fightclub is oon my opinion one of the best movies made but this was a very good movie but if you took the gangster themes then it would be a masterpiece.

  • The movie is really good , but this trailer's quality is ... never mind !

  • Haters will hate. This is an awesome movie

  • I poop all over this movie.

  • so which pixel is liotta and which is statham?

  • OK, I get the "ego" part of the movie....but,

    How'd they get outta jail?

How'd they know he was sick, was he sick?

How did they know the messages they left on the cards in the beginning "take the elevator", "pick this up"

Why'd he have to give his money away?...what was the point?

Where those 2 guys even real?

  • @iicingOnTop

    They "escaped."

Yes, he was sick. How'd they know? Very few aren't.

They know the messages because they wrote them, obviously.

    Money is not important.

    Were they?

  • whose the girl in 1:41?

  • This movie is only divine if you contemplate to the point of understanding the meaning behind it. Those who didn't like this movie are either ignorant or too small minded. This movie makes you think about life, it uses many metaphors and psychological examples. If you understand this movie, then you understand the beauty of life.

  • @InevitableEnigma And those like you who actually believe this film has any intelligence whatsoever clearly aren't the most logical yourselves and probably haven't seen too many actually intelligent works of cinema to begin with. 2001: A Space Odyssey, that's an example of a philosophical, artistic film. Guy Ritchie was just a monkey who rented a book on psychology from the library and decided to make a film...Luckily, he made Sherlock Holmes, a real, clever film.

  • amazing movie.. definitely a top30 ever. Guy Ritchie knows what he does :p

  • just blew my fucking mind. Ego within an ego, i just got fucking inception-ed!

  • great film ! ! perfect mix betwen action and art

  • tumps up if you whatched this movie twice in a row

  • MINDFUCK

  • This movie sucked. This trailer makes it look a lot meite decent than it was.

  • @TheHappyKamper What sucked about it? Too much philosophy not enough pointless guns and blowing shit up?

  • FEAR MEEE!!!!!!

  • I watched this movie at least 10 times, to get a full understanding about the story plot and how everything is connected. About the 2nd time around I understand the ego part of it. Even watching it many times it still didn't make sense yet it is still a great movie for a person who uses their brain. Then Someone told me about the First Version from the UK. Watching That version, It all makes so much sense, why he went to prison, how his bro wife died, etc. F the US Verison. I understand it now.

  • @GMShuntingseason where I can find the UK version?!

  • @honnci I get all my Downloads from w w w. phazeddl com then just type in the movie section Revolver and it will pop up the majority of the revolver movie uploads are from the UK.

  • Sam Gold is your ignorance and ego. It is what makes your mind think you are better than others and it blames external people for the work of your internal self. Some people have to feed their egos while others realize that they aren't going to let it control them. Pretty deep shit if you understand it.

  • 24op we meet again

  • am I the only one who watched this because Statham actually had some hair...?

    :P

  • play more chess

  • I'M NEW, THEY'RE OLD,

    I STAY, THEY GO

    YOU'RE BEST FUCKING FRIEND!

  • Watch this movie this morning and I got to say it was 1 of Guy Richie best work! BTW Sam Gold is your mind

  • WTF ?! Was this filmed with a washing machine??

    btw Who's Sam Gold?

  • @Hollyweed1 you must be retarded, this is just a shitty rip.

  • @nomellte you must be a fucked up bitch ass motherfckr.. whos mother fcks with everyone in ur neighbour.

  • @Hollyweed1 hahaha! oh wow

  • @Hollyweed1 why so angry LoL

  • @Hollyweed1 calm down, it's a bad rip. and sam gold doesn't exist. he's a myth. that was the trick of the two guys... think a little bit.

  • are the guys on the other cells real or just part of Jason Statham's character mind?

  • i have never seen such a fucking stupid boring movie like this before

  • @Alonestars1 probably youre too lazy to think or just not old / intelligent enough

  • @joaoluizsn

*SPOILER WARNING. DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THIS MOVIE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED*

The two in the the cells are actually Zach(played by Vincent Pastore) and Avi (played by André "3000" Benjamin).

  • @1995Nekfeu Well I tell ya, if you haven't enjoyed "Revolver", you will totally puke after "Swept Away" XD there is NO possible way to believe THAT was made by Guy Ritchie, there is not a single ritchian shot or story-telling, just his wife on screen: Madonna

  • @1995Nekfeu haven't seen "Swept Away", have we?

  • what's the music name at 2:15 - 2:20...please help me to find that))

  • I have to say this is 1 of my favs

  • ego - evil - devil - evolve - revolver... The hidden message in the Revolver. Once you understand it.., Things will become different.

  • tooooooo sick

  • fucking Ray Liotta sound like Tommy Vercetti from vice city lmfao

  • What is with the TWELVE dollar bills in this movie?

  • @NorthWestRegionRep

"What is with the TWELVE dollar bills in this movie?"

Read HG Wells' "A Modern Utopia". Chapter 3, "Utopian Economics". Then you will understand. By the way, he also talks about the cap and trade, energy credits trading system that's coming in right now, step by step.

Not because he was some sort of genius but because, as a Fabian socialist, he sat in big world meetings with the biggest bankers in the City of London, and even had a special status at the White House.

  • Jason Statham still looks better with his cute peach fuzz!

  • I'm not that guy that goes from video to video advertising their viruis ridden website but you can see this movie for free at crackle.com or, just buy it, I don't really care

  • Actually, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is the best movie of all time.

  • @TadRaunch GTFO

  • this is THE best movie in the entire history...

who ever watched it, and loved it probably watched it more then once.

no movie will never compare to REVOLVER.

    CHECKMATE!

  • @MrHcsl + this movie is very deep. I've already watched it thrice

  • @MrHcsl dude, i've watched this movie more than I have masturbated, it's fucking awesome and i want to make love with you now for having good taste

  • @MrHcsl

Snatch and Lock Stock and Two smoking barrels from Guy Ritchie.. just saying

  • @MrHcsl in youtube, everything is always the best... no it is one of the best.. but not the best.. this cant be the best. and you know it

  • @MrHcsl im agree

  • @MrHcsl Correct indeed. If one hasn't watched the key scenes in the TRIPLE digits, they know nothing. Over 12,000 comments on IMDB, and NOBODY gets it...the blind leading the blind. lol The 2008 cut is the absolute masterpiece this film was destined to be. Makes 'The Matrix' & 'Fight Club' look like kindergarten...

  • @MrHcsl You clearly need to seek medical attention.

  • @Transformers2themax You're clearly a hater :P

  • @Lockesmith9 There's a difference between being a mindless "hater" (Seriously, come up with a more clever, less trendy terminology) and being an aspiring filmmaker and critical analyst of cinema. I have not seen all Guy Ritchie films (Then again, why would or should I?) but from Revolver and RocknRolla, it's fairly safe to say that he's a terrible filmmaker. But, because of Sherlock Holmes, I will not say he is a completely badfilmmaker, because he's not...he just used to be.

  • @Lockesmith9 Like most Guy Ritchie films (Or the ones that I've seen or read about), Revolver is just a mindless guns and geezers movie that attempts to be philosophically intelligent and artistic, but ends up just being a bunch of two-dimensional characters spitting out generic lines of dialogue, as if they're robots, accompanied by a cinematic score...This only makes it unintentionally humorous. I actually laughed throughout this because of how meaninglessly moronic it was....

  • @Lockesmith9 Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed Sherlock Holmes. I thought it was a brilliant adaptation of the character and a unique take on the subject matter. It took the fact that it was about one of the most popular detectives in literature and almost gave this noir-esque style; the dark color style, the voice-overs, the strange out of this world cultural references. I thought it was a very intelligent film...But that's probably because it wasn't originally Guy Ritchie's material.

  • JASON WITH HAIR. WAHHHHH??

  • makes u think about that lil voice in your head

  • btw, there is no sam gold

  • Statham with hair and van dyke? O_O

  • This is a great move although I probably did not understand it "fully". I thought this was going to be one of those gangster movies because I'm 15. When I finished the movie I was baffled. I figured out that I didn't understand it at all, (although I thought I understood it). I think the reason why I didn't understand it is because I don't understand English "fully" and sometimes I space out and don't listen. After a few comments I understand its about the "ego". I will be watching this again.=)

  • sorter is the best!!!!!

  • This movie is not nearly as intelligent as it thinks it is, but I love it anyways

  • Nice HD quality Trailer!

  • Jason Statham with hair!?! O_o

  • @Jeffo193 the first thing I noticed

  • @Jeffo193 Weird isnt it?

  • great philosophy, crap movie.

Once you take the mantra out of the movie it's just a lame gangster flick full of every cliche going. It's like a sugar coated pill....distract people with gunfights and cool images while you shove some much needed existential philosophy up their rectums and hope some of it sticks.

  • HAHAHA JASON HAS HAIR AND A BEARD MWAHAHAHAHAHA

  • chess, some serious shit

  • its funny cuz its not even 360p

  • sam gold is the devil, and Zach and Avi are two angels trying to make him understand how the devil triks him to do bad things and how he makes him believe that he is one making those choices. avi said in the end of the movie the greatest trik he ever pulled was to make you believe he is you. and the lucifer is has in his mouth in the end of the movie. i had to watch the movie for 5 times to finaly understand it

  • So Zach and Avi were real persons, or just the imagination

    of Jason Statham?

  • @TheOmegaRing its like fight club , the black guy was he intelectual part, and the fat guy was he "action " part

  • @TheOmegaRing Forget about was illidankratos said. Zach and Avi are real people, the con man and the chess master he met in prison. However, they already destroyed or at least diminished their own egos and therefore feel no distinction between themselves and Jake Green, thus helping him because "they are him". Their only goal throughout the film, is to help Jake Green transcend his self, just like they did.

Interpreting the movie in any other way won't make the SLIGHTEST sense

  • @DharmaRevolution yeah i thought the same, but there's one thing that makes that impossible, how did they escape from prison? and i read somewhere when you're a long time isolated, like mr green seven years in a cell, your brain starts to imagine people to prevent going crazy

  • YOU LOST THE GAME!

  • @mastermultitasker DAMN YOU!!!!!!!!! :0(

  • @vendetta89 I know what you mean...this movie blew my mind...it absolutely blew my mind. It made me think so clear about life, it was fucking awesome. Guy Ritchie is a genius...really he is without any doubt. This a movie which you'll allways remember...a movie which changes your whole vision on the world and your life. This movie is absolutely awesome...

  • Love is the answer. Love is the end of the ego. Love is 100% attention for what one is doing. 100% attention does not require added effort.

  • And once I understood that the "game" was a representation of the ego and how to defeat and take control of oneself, as opposed to being a victim of your ego; my world flipped upside down. I never thought I would feel so enlightened, as if I just reached a state of zen, that everything became more clear and I was so much more in control of perception of life around me.

    Phenomenal film. Kudos

  • What Guy Ritchie managed to pull off here is absolutely spectacular. It's too bad a lot of people couldn't follow along on this brilliant tale. Although, Guy has made some fantastic movies, with relation to Lock, Stock; Snatch and so on, this is one of those that took people by surprise because it broke the mould of what Ritchie normally feeds to his crowd.

He demonstrated so well, his ability, to create such a deep film.

  • biggest mindfuck ever watched

  • this movie is complete shit :(((

  • @mrconradhoppe good movie didnt need good trailer ;)fuck trailers

  • i didnt get it............. can someone explain it

  • @SpaceObake The premise of the movie and the whole point of the con was to destroy Mr. Greens ego to truly free him. Mr Gold wasn't a real character in the traditional sense of the word... he was a representation of ego. With this in mind re-watch the film it'll make more sense.

  • @mahantheman thanks

  • absolutely with u!!!

  • A lot of people rated it low because they were "expecting" lock stock...

    Bloody idiots !

  • I´ve watched this movie sooo often and I still can´t fully understand its complexity.

  • guy ritchie has a boner for jason statham

  • the director of this movie is beyond GENIUS!!

i've already seen this movie like 10 times in the last few days.

couldn't imagine that the Ego could be such incredibly intelligent and evil!

i loved the part where Jason Statham actually apologized to "Dorothy Macha" after he woke him up.... this movie is incredible....

but i was wondering... what if that movie was a "CON" in order to make you think that you're ego isn't your friend, while he is?!!!

    i don't know. it's just me! rated 999/10 lol

  • @AmrMacintosh .totally!!!for me the best scene was from the elevator to where macha starts crying.no! sorry from where he explains the cons of chess.no!sorry again, the opening scene, DAMMIT THE WHOLE FUCKING MOVIE WAS AWSOME!!!

  • @mrsbelaraphon hahaha i love your comment!

and i agree with ya! :)

  • @mrsbelaraphon everything in this movie its perfect, all the movie its in a perfect balance, i like guy ritchie work a lot men

  • wtf this movie shows that everyone have someone inside thats why we talk to ourselves... sometimes? omg need lot oscars

  • PERFECT MOVIE, THIS IS ART

  • @olipimp 1000% agree!can't believe they would'nt play this on our cinemas in south africa.

  • i cried my eyes out when the elevator scene at the end of the movie finished ... this movie spoke worlds to me thank you all who are responsible for this movie

  • @ALVAROISDJVOODOO TOTALLY!but can i ask you something?after the movie, did your ego or conscience have the same accent as jake green?!lol

  • @mrsbelaraphon man i thank god no lol that would be too cool to stop listening too! itsmore ray liotta FEEARRRRR MEEEEE!!!!! :) I went out and got a beginners guide to a course in miracles(laymen's version):P its intense .how i love this movie ..wake up mr green.i cannot get over theballs guy ritch had to make this movie knowing probably full well he would take a loss in $ & some credibility but knowing it could effect people forever for generations to come moving by word of mouth 4 openminds

  • @ALVAROISDJVOODOO .man, can you believe the academy refused to acknowledge guy's project because 'e-entertainment' said the academy felt guy's movies were always a one sided genre, what a bunch of a-holes!

  • Does anybody knows which is the song at 1:40???

  • does anyone know the name of the woman roughly 25 minutes into the movie where the lily walker character strokes here face???

  • I dont get it, and Im not watchin it again, so where does this leave me?

  • The movie is about your ego. Your ego is made up of ideas that you have gathered together by the time you were 5 years old. These ideas are what you believe to be you. When in fact they are not. Since you believe these ideas are you. You believe that the voice in your head that is telling you what to do is you. When in fact they are nothing more than a bunch of ideas. Your ego is not you. Therefore, the ego does not exist. Yet, it will rule you until you understand that your Ego is not you.

  • @AttentionSeeker00 the characters are all aspect of his ego accept the part played by jason statham. amazing movie, Its like a bullet to the ego if you understand it hence the name "Revolver"

  • this movie is so good, perfectly balanced between action and the talking parts that have you're mind going crazy. I love how the scenes skip from the future to the past and back. It really is the biggest mind fuck ever lol. By far my favourite movie. Love Guy Richie's work.

  • the movie is great except for the animation part, it has nothing to do with the rest of the film and it annoys me

  • is this movie any good?

I didn't like rocknrolla that much,so how does this one stack up?

  • @28innovator It's shit. It's about not letting your ego rule your life. Something Ritchie should've heeded when making this pile of crap. He was too busy trying to be clever to think about tying up plots or making the audience have any emotional attachment to any of the characters.

  • @28innovator This is the kind of movies that you see and you have to pay special attention to everything, from symbols, to personifications. It makes you feel like you've seen Fight Club for the first time, and puts Inception to shame.

  • this is on now

  • Hahahaha the most misleading trailer of the year! I love it!

  • fuck I love this movie!!! I didn't knew it was Guy Ritchie's movie untill I saw rocknrolla... its an epic movie why the fuck they criticize it so badly??!!?

  • The next step after that, is realizing most of what we're fed is bullshit, and we're better off forming our own paradigms. Like this guy:

    v=vzORtnOOhmU

  • The ego is a mirage of thoughts in which makes you believe you are yourself when really it is a compilation of subconscious ideas and thoughts. The ego cannot be defeated but it can be understood. Such as being up yourself is an ego, the over exaggerate of your own importance and power, to believe that you are supreme when you really aren't. Your ego is an illusion of yourself. This is why it is so hard for the mind to come to terms with the ego when someone proves them wrong such as the ending.

  • @david000009 Yes I have recently been confronted, disinherited by my whole family because I challenge the elder brother, he is a war monger, will twist and turn the truth to fit his own ego needs of survive at all costs! Lie, cheat, steal, what ever he has to do to stay on top. I finally got him to realize, admit he is a raciest that hates equality. Strange how this works as he claims to be a devout Christian yet screams and yells. "I DO NOT HAVE TO BE LIKE JESUS! JUST BELIEVE IN HIM!"

  • I wish more people would watch this movie. At the end all the dr's talking about the ego is such a revelation!!

  • This mindful movie is one of my favorites

  • Seriously, there arent anythyng smast in the movie. A manipulation topic is too poor, but describing like science. the ego topic is too "hard too understend" at first look. Really it is wrong, almost whole. If you don't understand something it doesn't meens it have sense.

sorry for my english, hello from russia

  • absolutely amazing.

  • SO WHO IS SAM GOLD IN THE END ? HIS EGO ?

  • amazing "mindfucking" movie!

  • I like art films, I like avant-garde films, I like movies that are complex, I detest block busters. Yet, I hated this movie

  • @crossofthesphinx

Its rare I come across someone that challenges my beliefs and morals.

I believe to have conquered my ego already since I am so different from anyone I know. I'm very successful at a young age and did it without lying or cheating. In less than 1 year from now, I will never have to work again unless I want to. My mind is wired differently in that I look at the same things others do, but see something different.

    I'm guessing you're somewhat similar.

    Lets fix the world then.

  • @alexispilot I think it's important not to underestimate your ego. If you do listen to yourself and try to change everything you hear, you will not act rational, to yourself or to others. Cuz you will actually block away things thats necessary for you to do or to feel. The human mind is so powerful we can make almost any kind of work fun with the right "tools" . I think the safest way to use thoughts agains your ego is against fear, anxiety, embarassment and other MANAGEBLE negative thoughts.

  • @alexispilot so whut will you be doing in less than a year that means you will never have to work again ? -- although you may be in a good position with your ego . i don`t believe any human beings can conquer it on this earth place because when you do conquer your ego you will be ready to leave the planet .

  • @thaOFFICIALJAPAN

Easy, I'm working on my multiple streams of passive income. I'll never have to work again in a year from now.

My ego has died, I may call upon it from time to time, but I control it, it does not control me.

  • @alexispilot Multiple streams of passive income ? do elaborate if you will please ?

  • This is one of the best movies I've ever seen! I was all alone and was 100% concentrated on the movie and understood EVERYTHING. If you do understand the whole movie it's even LIFE CHANGING! I've red like 3 books about the ego after this movie and it's extremly fascinating. If you dont like the movie you are simply too stupid to learn from it, and i feel sorry for you. Cheers

  • @Sh0ken hey which books have you read im intereseted on reading them too! ive seen de film like 5 times and it blew my brains out its just amazing

    sorry for the bad english

  • @pergolio Some of the book's where hard to fully understand and takes a long time to read. But i really recommend sigmund freud's "psychoanalytic techniques". Hope its a copy in your language! But the book is not recommended for mentally insane or unstable people. It's ment to be for normal ppl with normal problems.Glhf!

  • @Sh0ken

So damn true, it changed my life forever

  • i didn't get this film atall, but i'm not critisising it, i'm sure i'd like it if i actually understood it.

  • @lilcaitz No I didn't get it either

  • i bought this for a dollar. it was soo bad omg

  • Comment removed

  • i hate it when films get critisised for being to complex. the films was good i dont know why the critics had to be so gay about it

  • well

although I disagree that there is no external enemy, in the sense that the fiat monetary system to which we are verily enslaved (job to make money that can be printed out and devalued by a private bank at will - and no real option to farm) a film that promotes the idea of not tying up one's own sense of self-worth into opinions...i.e. being able to change one's opinion when presented with new facts requires not defending certain beliefs upon discovery of their error.

  • or

more simply stated: "I'm just glad you didn't think it sucked! [either]" - Garth... who says it so much more adroitly

  • decent movie about redemption. nothing mind blowing. i have mixed feelings about the casting. some were top notch, some just did not belong. i love andre (3000) benjamin for his music, but he is no actor.

also if they would've cut half of the redundant and incoherent ramblings, i think the movie could have been a lot better. certain climactic scenes just dragged on way too long and strayed way too far from the point that it lost any effect.

"sorter" should have his own movie.

  • @RottenAppleSeeds

You probably watched the US version.

Watch the UK/World Version, its longer, and better; goes into more detail.

  • @alexispilot no, thanks. the last thing i want to do is watch a longer version of this.

  • @RottenAppleSeeds

Aww, you totally should. I love watching something that barely anyone understands. The longer version provides more insight on the con. The ending of the US version is the better than the UK version I'm sure. The best way absorb this film is to watch both films.

  • @alexispilot understanding it wasn't the problem. i got the the point, and i really wanted to like it. as i said before, i wish they would cut out parts that seemed intentionally convoluted and pointless. there were too many parts that just ruined climactic moments because it just dragged on for just too long. i don't think watching a longer version would do it for me. the message was there, but the entertainment wasn't.

  • Who hides beyond your pain...

This film is the modern culture fenomen, for sure. In the world of money such film just cant appear... I saw many variations of this movie. Best was chronological linear montage with somrtime parallel actions. Memories style montage I disliked, it lost its charm and game moments.

  • @l1dl2dl3dl4d who cowers in your numbess... I swear to fucking christ everyone who is SOOOO into this movie must be like family members of the actors or something.. i just can't believe people like it who have anything close to what biologists would call a functioning human brain, which leads me to conclude that there must be something wrong with the brain

  • @demalnun

We talk about different things. U just saw bad montage. I hated public version. Because it tried tio add game elements to where theay already were. But its useless for u to watch now another version and no reason for it, srsly.

  • this movie saved my life...literally.

  • this movie is so underrated on IMDB

  • @wiiDd91 .i agree with you.every cast member in this was amazing, but for me ray liottas performance was mind blowing!the reason why the awards won't acknowledge this kind of film is because those a-holes believe guy ritchies movies are one sided in terms of genre.

  • @wiiDd91 its ranked must see film 8th on imbd

  • @dreamofmoneymen

i dont know on what list did u see that. mostly lists on imdb are made by random person, so they are individual and subjective.
