  • WONDERFUL!

  • wow.. I saw him live in a little club in Norway. Our club couldn't afford bringing the whole band over, so he just played with what we had - the house band. I've never seen the house band play that good. Its amazing to see how one person can make a whole band better.

He's a regular now, by the way. I'm going to see him now for the 3rd time this May. If the volcano on Iceland would just quiet up:)

  • WOhhh muito bom, gostei muito do som, parabens.

    Muita musica pra você.

  • oh so nice!

  • Good good!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Tomas9308

Get a how to play CD,Jerry Portnoy has a good one ! but practice a year before you even touch a mic. Please

  • The low F harp is difficoult to play... good bending.

  • In this version-as he does on Hummels Blowout

cd-he remains on the low f harp.

  • James begins this song with a low F harp.

  • i really wanna learn how to play... but what are some pro's and con's of the chromatic harmonica and diatonic?? i just don't know which to get... any suggestion is welcomed, thanks

  • leaving a comment on youtube will help a little, but if i were you i'd just google it. you'll find tons of helpfull websites.

  • cromatic is hard to bend notes and make it sound bluesy but it's good for a jazzy type sound. plus your moustache gets stuck in the slide and i hate that. diatonic fits better in a shirt pocket but you have to learn to play cross harp which i'm still learning after 40 years.

  • @Tomas9308 Give a try to Hohner's XB-40. It's kind of the best of both worlds, for me at least.

It's a diatonic with the ability to produce all 12 tones of the chromatic scale. You could look on my channel to hear one.

  • A scintillating genius of the Mississippi Saxophone if I ever heard one-Passion,phrasing and TONE for days. For real.

  • Cool, who cuts ya hair man?

  • What key's he in?

  • Really good!

I had never heard anything from this guy, but just for this I can already say that he plays a lot!

I´ll try to find cd's from him!

P.S: the sound quality is very good, congratulations!

  • Wow... Just wow.

  • James! you are the man. You tounge blockin fool! Your feakin Cd's are hard to find!

  • James Harmon rules, who ever said this is boring is a douche bag.

  • James Rules!

  • real pretty ......

  • Great video, but cameraman was too shaky

  • I know That's the Blues! I think he is right!

Great performance of that tune. Nice Tuba-Harp!

Can't be easy for sure, he nailed it pretty solid!

  • For those of you that find this a Boring Clip...

Grab a harp in the key of "Low F" and give it a try...it's like playing a Tubba ... and this my friends is "Old Time Blues" ... James is Very Good at what he does...it's not as easy as it looks...it take a serious amount of breath to move those low end reeds

    rockytheharp

  • From one journeyman harp player to another you have hit the F-ing nail on the head.

  • I like your video clip and have rated it as awesome. Please check out my clips of me playing my jaw harp.

  • boring..

  • i can´t say he ´s a bad harp player, but i just don´t like his style

  • he looks like s.o. who milks the cows early in the morning. but he is a great blues singer & harp player!!!!

  • Fantastic!

  • That would be a low F

  • The Video is the slow blues of the past to me. Like Rod said, "You got to dig deep & listen to the words of Blues within." Smooth!!!

    Jim Day

  • James is THE MAN!Ive had the pleasure of working with him , Junior and Nathan James, and i have nothing but praise for these guys!

No one comes even close to Junior and Nathan is an extremely talented musician...
