Hey bearunroe - I don't think you will see this, but David Norris is a friend of mine here in Southern Maryland. I've often heard him sing and tell the story of this song. It's a great story and a great song. Very nice to meet you.

I really like this, take away all the sound system and you can just see the raw talent of these guys, Blue Highway is amazing, great singing, great picking, great songwriting. thanks for posting bud. I wish I could get a full version of this performance. This album 'midnight storm' is probably my top 5 albums all time, I think I have bought like 4 or 5 different copies over the years and was always in my ipod when I was in Iraq. such a good tune also.

Wayne Taylor has the most naturally soulful voice I've ever heard. The guy is in perfect pitch every time. Funny story: he told me (according to his mother) he learned to sing before he could talk because his mother always sang around the house and his first words and sentence were to tunes within songs.
