Doesn't look like you could ever get a full flare out of that thing. You'll always have to run like hell to keep up with the landing (or so I would think). Kudos to him for having the skill to land something like that, but I'll stick with my bigger canopy (5 times bigger to be exact).

I jumped a 120 pintail in 1995 and I weighed 95kg(PS. I still do). It was one of the fastest then. Pete Zam jumped a 89ZP and he couldn't get away from me. He hooked on +700ft and I had to hook or front riser it on +550ft. The pintail had a 75kg max load. Had to hook it to land it though. Brilliant on CRW as well. This guy has balls of steel. If you open a small canopy like this one you can even steer it without the toggles. A line twist could be fatal.

@astrallflyer he is falling at the same speed under open canopy you would fall without one. he has to flair on landing so i want to GUESS he could be landing at maybe 60- 70 mph.

Its called FLARE.

Under canopy the guys in wingsuits had to tell him to slow down, so not quite the "normal freefall" as in a normal belly flier...ok that means someone without a wingsuit geez!!..

Still pretty damn good anyhow and its still a record for the smallest landed. !!!

Not true this is the smallest built, or flown, the XAOS 21 sq ft canopy has been flown multiple times by Jeffro and others.
