what you guys do is amazing, i'm proud of all of you. My father, you all the rest who do what they can. All fighting for a better world, a better cause. I thank you guys, and i hope someday i can do my part. i may have treated my dad horribly while he was in treatment but now that i'm a little bit more grown up, i'd like to someday run for him.
i stumble upon this, while actually looking for inspiration to see if i should really start up running, i'm 18 and i have this strong desire to get physically fit. But what really caught my attention was the cause you were running for. two years ago my father got burketts lymphoma, by the time we caught it was already in stage four. but after a year and a half of intense chemo, he made it out. and then dedicated himself to swimming in a triathlon for the awareness of cancer.
I hope you are feeling very proud, James. That is an amazing accomplishment. I think the weather was your enemy, and on a nicer day, you would have completed the 40 miles. I wish you much success with your next attempt.
Awww... I am so proud of you! You meant well in every way. I am glad you did 32.5 instead. I could not compete with you anyhow. Congrats. Yes, we need to keep in our mind for our beloved deaf ones who fights against cancers.
