I've had really bad acne, similar yours,you know red flare ups,cystic(AH HURTS) etc, and i think the worst thing that ANYONE could say to anyone WITH acne (and yes, some people have said more than once) is. "omg, you'd look so pretty if you DIDNT have pimples(acne) "i don't know,but if anyone can relate to that one, and even if it's the look that someone gives you,saying that, your.not.alone. But i truly think everyone is beautiful in there own simple way.

the best liquid foundations I have tried and will continue to buy are the Vichy foundations and La Roche Posay's. Not the cheapest ones,but still a very good price and superb quality and as good as the top price range products.they are medical cosmetics products,great coverage and they don't clog the pores.they also have one the best light skin shades you could find, blend perfectly and never make the skin oily even after all day wear.I'd recommend for anyone looking for good foundation product.

I think it's a problem with drugstore foundations because once I broke down and bought MAC foundation, it matched my super light skin perfectly. It sucks because it's so expensive, but it works.

@luvglittergurl, talking from experience, try to leave the make up of if your at home, and wash your face reguraly. If you do want to wear foundation try a tinted moisteriser or not a thick liquid one. Also try not to touch them or aggrivate them as they will spread also i found that a gritty scrub made them more sore, hope this helped!!! :)

i tan easily in the summer. i dont try to, its just my ethnicity and my skin color. any way. tip to everyone who is like this as well. i think its great to have a few range of foundation colors just to match how your color in each season. you can also use them to blend and make new shades. I was thinking, wud it be bad to mix two different brands of foundation??

I have to say: your skin is improving so well! Congrats, really! In some more days, you will even need to aplly foundation at all, becuase you will have a flawless skin.

And this is a good tip: test in different lights. I have a BB Cream and I'm a little concerned about it because I think it's too bright for my skin, but some people said that it's perfect. I use Mary Kay foundation and I love it, but I think it's a little light too, specially when I took photos.

@emeraldbabiie Try letting it sit, they usually get darker as time goes on. you can buy one one shade lighter too. I'd recomend makeup forever, its my favorite for covering, and pretty true to color!

I just have 2 colours foundation. I have a winter foundation an a super dark foundation. In summer when I tan, i just add some of the dark foundation with my winter foundation ;) x
