  • incredible

  • @mekaks Agreeeeeed. ^_^)

  • LOL banned from beijing

  • I wanna see more videos from these guys, they're awesome!

  • They are not banned. SA just showed up in the interview with MOGO Music. They have terminated with Scream Records for many years.

  • 2:01

    love those boots

  • woah 2:31... looks kind of like Miyavi

  • I don't know HOW Ling kept the band together but I'm so glad he did - I love Silver Ash!

  • yay! chinese rock band!~

  • ah fuck chinese government.. they dunno wats right and wrong >:[

  • The government have this old-fart silly traditional mentality, that's why it took them this long to start developing.

  • these guys are good ^_^ id love to see a jrock band live :D

  • this band is from china. so is it like c-rock? :D

  • its not japanese。。。theyre chinese

    傻的。。。

  • what i heard is that silver isn't banned - the government just discourages it...please don't fight! i am asian chinese(but i havent been to china)...i believe, if we show silver our support there's a greater chance of them becoming really successful...imagine if their fans don't buy their cds, they have no proof that they are achieving something, the goverment has more chance to go against them ^^;

  • the government probably put pressure on the band members that lead to the band's demise. Those filthy communist bastards.

  • demise? *laugh* no sir, silver ash is pretty much alive. in fact they're making a comeback right now. if you could read chinese i suggest visiting the vocallist's blog. blog[dot]sina[dot]com[dot]cn/lingroom...in fact, on 13th april ling posts that they have to postpone a show. ^^ they're active in china. the government may not support them but they have not died! :D

  • speaking of ling's blog, i just happened to read it yesterday.. love his new photos with the white trenchcoat.. well, i used the wrong word "demise" .. i was referring to the fact that SA were no longer producing heavy songs as before and changing themselves into something like the typical chinese pop bands you'd find on the mainstream such as Mayday, FIR, etc... i describe this change as the "demise" of silver ash.. perhaps "change of style" would have been more appropriate. Thx for responding

  • ling doesn't even need makeup to look pretty! and he has a really sweet voice! actually i haven't heard their newest songs yet...my favourites were from when lucy(one of the first guitarists) was around, but i like the newer song never end too. no offence to any mayday/FIR fans but i think silver still pwns them, even if silver does pop *haha*

  • Okay I would just like to state why the hell fight over something that means nothing. They put out amazing music isn't that enough for you guys. They try their hardest to make people like them.. they do good. They are a good band. So just grow up and leave at that.

  • @ ancafesucks;

Well first of all, Dir En Grey doesn't own the whole Vkei scene, knowing that you do in fact love Dir En Grey and love to support them more than An Cafe (I for one, is a fan of both). And each language, let alone band(or person), has their own way of expressing rock(or music) and this is their own way. Besides, by just watching this video only, is useless on judgement by one look And also, just because they don't look it doesn't mean they're not. Compare alice nine to dir en grey.

  • DeG are no longer Visual Kei anyway, and they no longer want to be associate with that scene.

  • this band wasnt influenced by dir en grey they was influenced by luna sea, malice mizer and x japan and a little bit of dimmu borgir so they didnt copied dir en grey.silver ash is a good band and they make very great music.this band isnt a visual band no more but they still make good music

  • wtf?! dimmu borgir? really?

  • yeah.. their previous guitarist Nancy is heavily influenced by metal.. 好想念他哦!!

  • i like them :)

  • this song is so beautiful..

  • i don't know why people just believe stuff from the internet. i just visited china. i found Silver Ash album on the shelf in music store in Shanghai. it's NOT BANNED. stop this bullshit about the government. plus, there is a VCD with the album showing them playing in multiple shows in China. so i have no idea where this crap is coming from. i guess some people just hate the government and make up BULLSHIT.

  • I think it's just rumors. They kinda disbanded a while ago, but that's probably why people have started hearing things about being banned. But I believe that they are working on a side project, possibly. A band that IS banned in fact, is Pangu. Due to their songs having criticism towards the communism of the government. ( i hope that helped support your comment D: )

  • i think it's because of communsim and te fact that mostasian parnts and grown ups hav lived a strict life of "NO ROCK MUSIC!!!! JUST POP!!! AND UR COUNTRY'S TRADITIONAL MUSIC!!!!" sucks though T.T I was beginning to wonder...my dad is such pefect example of that time...

  • there is NO BAN on rock music. you can buy them in stores. i have tons of Chinese rock/metal music. when i was in China just recently, i visited many guitar stores in different cities. there are hundreds and thousands of guitars for sale. there is obviously a huge demand for band equipments. get your fact right.

  • It might not neccessarily be the case for either of those justifications. It could be that children are encouraged against listening to rock because the parents are so bent on what they grew up with, possibly. I know that's the case with my parents. XD

Anyway, just a random comment. No attention need be paid.

  • China is opening up, I hope it speeds up so Silver Ash will be able to go visual again.

  • hmm...fyi Silver Ash is still around.. they never got banned..

  • they aren't banned, they were forced to disband for "going against society" <3 come to japan or america, and make music! XD

  • All this time I've been wondering why there's no rock in my home country and finally decided to do a little research :/ I can't believe Silver Ash is banned. All that Chinese pop is really making me annoyed > > You can hardly call that music.

  • research some more.. u'll find a flourishing underground rock scene underneath all those pop on the surface ^_^

  • Thanks :D Although, any suggestions? 8D Such as sites and names. so far I've only checked out wikipedia, and most of those bands have little or no information, disbanded, etc.

  • I can't believe China

I'm 100% Chinese myself, but there's absolutely no originality to China now I think of it.

I went to China when I was 7,and it was actually China.

The third time I visited,it was the same as America.

How I wish there would be bands,China would do a great job with VK and such considering how many people live in such a big country.

    Silver Ash is amazin.

  • wow this is only the second song I've heard by them, but they are awesome!! Thanks for posting^^

  • if you don't like it why are you watching it??

  • YOU are very bad.

If you don't like china, you can't rate chinese rock impartial.

  • Is their anywhere I cannn download their music O.O/ For freee?

  • try verycd

  • I like the vocals a lot. mandarin is kinda hard to understand though, for me.

  • :3 They have a new mv out.

  • what? where, where?

  • They really have been baned in china....but latest tales say they have found a label in japan...they`re really hated in china `cause of their lyrics....but be patient...Silver Ash will be back soon

  • why are they hated in china?

you mean by the government or the people? ..or both?

  • China's government doesn't like the fact that Silver Ash's music and lyrics are angry, despairing, and everything that rock is. They want music that is happy, and promotes harmony and that kind of stuff. Many of the people hate them because they are in that same mindset of the gov, but also many people love them...mainly younger gen, which can't do much about them getting banned.

  • wow

and does that include hong kong as well?

  • No. Hong Kong is self-governing for the time being. But the music and culture of HK is pretty goodie-goodie (of their own making, not forced by CCP). Practically no rock at all, if any. Only pop which is gets pretty lame and boring after a while.

  • do any of you know if i can find them anywhere else? i like the music and well i cant find it *goseintoacornerandcrys*

  • could you send me the lyrics of this song? please

I searched it like a whole day and I couldn't find it

by the way.. loved it! ♥ ☺

  • Which is the name of this song?? I love it so much....

  • if you would read the video information you would see the name.

  • Um, are you sure they are banned from Beijing? Do you have a citation? I couldn't find one anywhere, which is actually good news.

I know they're on hiatus right now, but Ling is still dedicated to the band and keeping it from being defunct.

And you can't get their CDs anymore, probably because they have stopped producing more copies, since the band still doesn't have an official label yet, last that I heard. :/

  • I just used "banned from beijing" because I liked the way it sounded. has nothing to do with anything.

All I know is that their CDs are no longer produced. (legally.)

  • @acataleptic At one point, They were banned from making music in China. The Chinese government demanded they breakup from making Visual Kei music. Then, about a year or two later, after Silver Ash began working on a Pop project called TOYS I believe? Something like that, the Chinese government changed their decision and allowed Silver Ash to be Silver Ash and make VK music. Silver Ash has gone through a lot, really. It's insane. lol

  • Why are they banned from Beijing? Did Silver Ash disband, or something? Is that why you can't get their CDs anymore? >.<

  • yeah, they've been gone awhile. sadly.

  • really? i didnt know. its a shame.. theyre rly gd.

  • @jpeople I guess you forgot to mention Nancy and Bai Niao. I think that Beijing banned them because chinese still hate japanese for taking Manchuria 80 years ago. And since these guys tried something japanese, they got hated. Anyway the only two members of the band that stayed from the beginning till the end in the band were Ling and Zheng. And I thought Malice Mizer changed their members regularly.

  • @jpeople Anyway there was a VK band who was made in 93 if I'm not wrong and there were like 15-20 members in the band since then and only one of them is still in the band. Now they sorta look oshare kei and stuff. I forgot it's name.

  • @jpeople No need for you to tell me. I found that band. It's name is Piass.

  • shoot im glad i got there CD's

  • This song is so beautiful <3

  • OMG! I'm Chinese but I can't really tell what they are saying. They are to muffly. I can only understand like half the song. It's good by the way

  • it's prbably the bad quality of the recording.

  • Would you happen to know where I could get a silver ash cd in America?

  • Sorry, I don't. I recorded their music off the radio. you can't buy their cds anymore.

  • *sigh* thank you

  • hey, I believe YesAsia still has some of their CDs for sale

  • shit i loved this band too... blast... glad i was able to get their songs... for a while i couldn't even find it on amazon.. crud

  • did you go to the hospital in Hong Kong, or Beijing? soo... you know Chinese too?? oh yeah, great song. I'd like the translation to the whole song, though.

  • GREAT *Q* THANK YOU <3 Really love it!

  • i love it!!!
