I use this with CBanded Dugtrio on my current OU team. Latios isn't running away from Banded Shadow Claw...Thundurus can't run from Banded EQ. It's really under-shadowed.
The subject matter alone in this episode was much better than the last. While gravity is still quite gimmicky, it's a lot more worth using than snatch.
I was gonna say that I'm still not sure who these videos are for, but then I thought of something. While I still kinda think these wouldn't be too useful for your subscribers, they'd be good for a channel like pokemoshpit or projectmoshpit. While those channels are complete dogshit, they're aiming to attract people who know less about pokemon.
@sharktamer first of all i like how i see sharktamer replying to sharktamer, for some reason it amused me, and i kinda agree but some people out there may use these moves if they are completely understood, but i think it could be kinda better explaining more complex but more commonly seen moves, ive only seen gravity used a couple of times, mainly the one time i saw it was with the sky drop glitch, which is funny, i think it would be good to see possible movesets to go with it, just my opinion
@fiddleswith You are right, and so is pokeruler. You can just google it, but in most cases it is easier to see it in action rather then reading about it. I did however throw in an article about gravity in the description to help people get a better understanding of the move Gravity
@AAmazing0 ah that makes sense. i really enjoy your accent i mean explanation of gravity :P it was very informative and detailed, and i hope i didnt sound like i was complaining
@fiddleswith Oh no it is grand! This episodes are aimed at people to get a better understanding of Game Mechanics. You see the video and think "I might try that out" and then you do a bit of research of how to incorporate said mechanic into your team building process.
thinking about making a gravity based team. I learnt alot about snatch from your last video and have used it in alot of battles which works great because people dont realise what it does
This is quite an aamazing series my good sir

@sharktamer what I meant in the last part was, the channels are complete dogshit, but these videos would still be suited for the channel.
Don't take that as me saying they're dogshit too though ;). What I mean is, they'll be a very useful too for their target audience.

@pokeruler63 having movesets and maybe even full teams for some of these would be a very good idea, hopefully AAmazing sees that.

this seems really effective especially when you need a move with low accuracy or a move levitate negates to work at the mid or late game

wow very informative thanks, makes for an excellent new team theme, you didnt mention tho how many turns gravity lasts
TheGozzler1 5 months ago
@TheGozzler1 I mentioned it in the description, but threw in an annotation how long it lasts!

Gravity teams are always fun to try once in a while, bit difficult to play with at times but still fun.
