  • I have a small furnace that goes up to 3000F I fugure I would be more comfy in heating the crucible in there Any inconvenients /suggestions ?

  • Thanks for the video. It is well made, articulate and educational, it captures your enthusiasm for the subject and has helped me learn how to cast with cuttlefish. FWIW i don't think you should get ragged for sharing something you obviously enjoyed so much and took the time to learn and document. I think information is neutral, it's what we do with it that has value.

  • Looks like someone got a whiner on their video.

Cool video, very interesting stuff. Definitely would like to try this out somewhere here in the midwest.

  • @Xellosr

    whiner or winner?

    Yeah, It's too bad.

But definitely check it out. It's a blast to learn!

    Thanks for the comment.

  • @donadicarlo

    I'll try.

Even though I think you'd have a better chance as a regular.

You should be able to take pictures of your own work.

  • cool! I want to try this out! What do I need to get?

  • @tubulawesome

get a cuttlebone, some silver, a propane torch and a crucible are the main things.

You'll need a hacksaw and a carving tool too, like a pencil. Oh and some sandpaper and different metal wires.

  • first! haha, I'm always first!
