Good example of change ringing here.

I'm ambivalent about retuning bells - sure you can get them in tune, but what we consider a pleasant ring in the early 21st century may well be considered sterile and lacking in character (too generic white bread) in the future. After the bells have been turned, there's no way to get them back to where they were originally.
