My brother was in iraq there were 3 little kittens they were all brothers he kept them secretly until the commanding officer found out the commanding officer luckily kinda liked cats so he let him keep him but only in his barracks even when they left he kept him the 3rd brother died shortly though then the second one got sick but got better when he left afghanistan he kept them we still have them today [=

As a cat owner..and i dont want to sound like a jerk but please keep the kitten away from the grenades or any type of pull pin explosive..becauses cats like to play with things that dangle and also like to chew on things that dangle. Last thing you want is to have an accident. Just a safety tip.

That cat in The Sandbox (Iraq, Afganistan, et al) is more in danger of dehydration, getting hit by a vehicle, drinking untreated water, tortured by a bully, stung by a scorpion/poisonous snake, etc. etc. etc.
