I hate it if reporters blather on all through the music, *especially* all through such a beautiful interpretation of the "ode to joy". It didn't help that I don't speak a word of Spanish. :-P

the music was sang in italian, its clasical music, its not catalan. the reporter is the one who speaks in catalan.

actually, the ode to joy is sung in german not italian, spanish, catalan or whatsoever. :-)

The solo at the beginning, sung by the boy, is not in german, that much I'm sure of. Still it's one of the best intonations of the piece I've ever heard, german voices or not. And the reporters blather right over the first half of it! And I was referring to the language the reporters speak in, which I assumed to be spanish. If I understood that, maybe I'd see that they talk about some incredibly interesting things (though I doubt it), which would then make the blathering-over less annoying :-P
